I am very excited to be able to offer a new program this year. We have exciting news for the program this year. We will be moving to Eureka, Mt.for the workshop. The dates are June 15-19.
The beginning part of the week will prepare the student for solo work for later in the week. The first part of the week will cover color, form and composition. We will have sculpture as well as pastel in the first of part of the week. Classes will cover plein air(field work) and studio work. Students will have the opportunity to apply for 2 college credits.
Faculty Information:
We will have our usual 2 instructors for you to work with, Wanda Mumm and Mark Kelso, for the first part of the week. Sculpture materials and pastels will be available for students as part of their tuition. Drawing and painting supplies will need to be brought to the workshop by each student.
Other Activities:

Students many find other advetures close by. Horseback riding, whitewater rafting and hiking.
Facility Information:
The student's fees will cover all instruction and some meals with a couple dinners included. The Creative Art center that will serve as our base and each student will be working with professional artists. The scenery is wonderful and the opportunities for subjects for us to work with will be abundant.
Notes:
SKB Foundation will again be our sponsor for the scholarships. The scholarship value will be $300 this year. The students will be responsible for paying the balance after the SKB scholarship of $250 and will also need to arrange for transportation to the Eureka, Mt. location.
Two-college credit will be available again this year. Anyone attending previously will be able to apply for the credit again as the course changes names every year. MSU Northern will be our granting Institution again this year; the credit is transferable as elective credit. The University does charge a fee of $100-$125 for the 2 credits.
