Small friendly classes with highly qualified teachers with experience. The total course price includes: lessons, teaching materials, full or half board single room accommodation with local host families and free activities. Students may choose from a variety of study locations e.g. Temuco, Arica, Santiago, Osorno.
Our school offers a wide variety of Spanish programs and courses for foreign students e.g.: from Absolute Beginners to Advanced, Spanish for Careers & Professionals, One to One, as well as Academic Year Programs for Scholars, School Group Cultural Tours, Voluntary Work/Experience and Home stay.
* Accommodation: Students live with Chilean or Peruvian Host Families during their stay on a Full Board or Half Board basis, or you may take your course with one of our Teacher Families which includes full board and single room. We do offer other kinds of accommodation e.g. hotels, residentials.
* Combined Study and Home stay Locations: Our school offers its students on Spanish courses of 6-weeks plus the option of combining their study locations (Home stays included) e.g. to study in Santiago for 3 weeks, then continue in the Lake Region and/or in the coastal city of Africa for 3 or more weeks, or a number of weeks in Chile and continue in Perú, Lima, Cuzco, and other, or any combination suitable to the student, which permits a better understanding of the cultures, customs and traditions of Chile and Perú and the different regions while studying the language.
Our school's host families are usually very busy, involved people – tolerant, flexible, supportive and caring. They represent a broad cross-section of Chilean and Peruvian society. The host families are willing to provide the overseas high school students with room and board. They are enthusiastic Ambassadors of Chile and Perú, ready to share a unique year of fun and learning. But most of all our school's host families are willing to make a difference in their own family, their community, their country and ultimately the world.
Our families are the foundation of the program. By opening their homes and hearts to the world’s young people. They offer friendship, a willingness to share themselves and their way of life, and a genuine interest in learning about other cultures and customs. Our host families are special people of extraordinary goodwill and generosity of spirit. They enjoy teenagers and are willing to treat their student as a member of the family.
Faculty Information:
All our teachers are Spanish and English native speakers. They all are experienced using a number of different teaching methods and well-versed in the ability to adapt the student. They all have a Teaching Certificate recognized by the Ministry of Education and are qualified in their subjects.
Other Activities:
Spanish and English lessons can be arranged for groups, to combine with the cultural tour at our Institutes in Lima, Cuzco, Perú and Santiago, Chile.
* 4 day camping excursions on horseback in the Andes Mountains.
* 6 day tour of the South of Chile – Lake Region, Chiloé Island. Bariloche in the Argentine Patagonia may be included.
* 4 nights at the beach in the northern coastal city La Serena. Chile and visit to local astronomical observatories.
* Rafting in the Cajon de Maipo/Mountain climbing/Hang gliding/Visit thermal baths.
* 4 day camping trek along the Inca Trail – Cuzco, Machu Picchu, Peru.
* Educational tour of large gold and copper mines in Chile/Tour of Chilean vineyards.
Facility Information:
Our school offers such facilities like a modern and well-equipped library, cafeteria and internet connection for our students. Each student receives an Attendance Certificate or Certificate of Studies after completing the course or program. All courses include Text Books and Free Activities with Host Family; 2 Day Excursions; discounts each week after 4 weeks and special discounts for long term students.
