Our school was founded in 1969 as a private school dedicated to teach Spanish to foreigners. The school is located right in the historical center of Valencia. After many years of experience we can say that we are expertise in the matter of teaching Spanish. We have 5 permanent teachers with a 5 to 20 year teaching experience. No fail in external examinations such as DELE and Chamber Of Commerce. Ask information to take the Chamber of Commerce examination at the school.
The school has an open doors policy. All students can get in contact with our teaching staff and direction. We have permanent courses all year round with at least four levels. The maximum of students per class is 10 and the minimum 1. The school has 11 classrooms, 3 of which are equipped with a DVD or video and a television.
Spanish films are available for our students to watch every week. There is also a room where our students can relax between classes equipped with a refrigerator, a microwave oven and a fountain of mineral water. We have free internet access for our students and a Spanish library.
We organize at least 2 activities per week. Most of them are free such as: watching a Spanish film at the school, taking a coffee-conversation with one of our teachers, a guided tour around the historical center, learning how to make a Spanish omelet and a sangria, or ask us to make an appointment for a guided tour at one of the most important industries in Valencia such as the international porcelain creations of Lladró.
Other activities requiring a ticket entrance must be paid to us and we will make the reservations for you. Visits such as the Oceanographic museum or the City of Arts and Sciences are a must in Valencia, you can enjoy the content of the museum as well as the architecture of Santiago Calatrava. Other visits to museums in town can also be organized by the school (Museum of Ceramics, Fine Arts museum...)
Students can also ask information about dance classes. We can also organize small excursions outside of town such as a boat ride around the Albufera lake or a visit to the Roman and Jewish historical monuments at the town of Sagunto. During summer we will show the students how to get to the beach. The Malvarrosa beach is in town, about 20 minutes away from the school by bus, 15 if you take the tram. It is one of the largest sand beaches in Spain!
Also the students can ask information at the secretary of how to get to the many different beaches surrounding Valencia as well as where to eat the best paella in town. Valencia is the city where paella originated, so we recommend that you don’t taste it anywhere else. We can also provide lots of information for our students depending on their interests, nature, art, pubs and discotheques, sports, etc..
We also provide accommodation for our students. Lodging can be arranged at a Spanish family, a hostel, a studio or a shared apartment. We currently work with more than 30 Spanish families where the student can choose between full-board and half-board. Hostel, studio or shared apartments are located right in the center of town, 5 minutes walking to the school.
