We are an English speaking company specializing in photography workshops, tours and holidays in Italy. Our photography courses are open to all skill levels, film and digital users, and all teaching is done in English.
Whether it is your own Venetian costume photo shoot at Carnival time, or shooting the sunset from the garden of your villa in the rolling Tuscan hills, we are sure there is something for you. Our photography tour groups are small enough so that you get plenty of personal attention, our hotels are hand-picked for their charm, comfort and friendliness, and every little detail of your photo workshop is meticulously designed by us, so that you get much more than just a ‘photography course’ – you get the holiday of a lifetime.
Throughout the year, we run workshops in Italy's most spectacular locations, including Venice, Rome, Florence, Tuscany, Umbria and Sicily. Our instructors are a collection of the world’s most accomplished photographers from organizations such as National Geographic and the Magnum Photo Agency. Participants with all levels of experience attend the workshops, and both film and digital are equally at home.
Faculty Information:
Our tuition is given by a collection of some of the world's most respected and accomplished professional photographers from organizations such as National Geographic. All teachers are working professionals who also have extensive experience of teaching workshops.
Workshops are all about being out in the field, and so participants can expect to spend every day out and about exploring their location and being guided to some of the magical hidden spots. Each day we use laptops and projectors to view and discuss images taken and provide a constant feedback loop.

We plan our workshops meticulously and we want each participant to leave having had the most amazing holiday too. In order to accomplish this we look at every little detail of your stay to ensure we offer you an authentic experience that encompasses a real taste of your host country. All of the restaurants and hotels we choose are hand-picked by us for their charm, service and cleanliness.
During Carnival time in Venice, each year we commission the design of new Carnival costumes that we use for private photo shoots with our models during our famous Venice Carnival Workshop every February. In Tuscany we take over an entire Tuscan villa overlooking the rolling hills of San Quirico, and in Sicily our participants have their own official press-passes to allow them to capture the passion of the Easter religious processions with access they would never otherwise have.
Facility Information:
Workshops range in duration from between four days (five nights) for our city-based courses such as Venice, Florence and Rome, and up to six days (seven nights) for destinations such as Tuscany, Umbria and Sicily. Groups range in size from eight to twelve people and participants come from all over to the world to visit us.
We are exceptionally proud of our customer loyalty, as now, two thirds of all participants book a second workshop within a year of their first visit.
