We are a pre-collegiate English as a Second Language program which provides English language instruction and related services to foreign students who want to learn English for academic or professional purposes.
We prepare foreign students to be success in university or in a career that requires English language skills. We offer language instruction in a multi-level, multi-skill language program, and related services: conversation partners, tutors, friendship families, trips and activities, university dormitory living and much more!
Faculty Information:
Our director is responsible for all program activities; our Office Manager, Linda Wanless, is responsible for day-to-day operations; 7 instructors hold MA or Ph.D. degrees in teaching English.
Other Activities:
May, June, July: daily afternoon activities including sports, shopping, local parks and attractions. Weekend trips include day trips to famous tourist attractions in Wisconsin: Wisconsin Dells, Great America, Milwaukee, Madison, State parks. From September to May the College offers numerous sports clubs, service trips and activities, student organizations, music and drama events...
Facility Information:
Our classes are offered on the 80-acre campus (over 35 buildings!). Our offices are in the Bemis International Center (BIC); our classes are held in various College classrooms. Students live in College dormitories (12 dormitories on campus) for over 2000 students. Students take meals in the College cafeteria or in the College Student Center.
