We are a vocational education and training institute located in the beautiful Kapiti Coast. We are registered as a private training establishment by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (the government quality assurance body) and are signatory to the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students published by the Minister of Education. Courses
Our Certificate in Business English
This qualification is built around business topics and develops business English skills such as the language of meetings, discussions, presentations, report and letter writing. It is aimed at students who are interested developing knowledge of business processes and how to professionally communicate information in a business context.
Our Certificate in General English
This qualification is designed to give pupils a general grounding in the English language that will allow them to manage in the range of day-to-day situations that they may have to cope with as visitors to New Zealand. A hands-on, practical approach will be taken in which pupils are expected to start interacting and using the English language from the very first day.
NZ Diploma in Business Program

Specialist Courses Communication Skills
This course gives students a chance to practice and improve their overall ability to communicate. Students will acquire greater confidence and independence in dealing with practical, everyday situations and develop the ability to clearly communicate what they want to say.
Business Seminars
Aimed at students who do not want to attend a regular course but wish to improve their skills in specific areas of business. Students can choose to follow all seminars or select just those that interest them. Each seminar consists of five 2-hour sessions and are open to students from any background.

Our Work-Based Training Program
We can tailor a program to train you while you work in New Zealand. Our initial focus areas are Health care, Hospitality & Tourism and Administration, though we are always expanding this program.

We offer special 1 to 1 classes to help you achieve results faster.
Counseling and Student Care
Counselors are available to provide you with private assistance on personal or study matters. This service is available to all students.
We can provide advice on:
- Adjusting to academic life;
- Study commitments and attendance;
- Stress and anxiety;
- Any issues or concerns you have.
If we cannot help you we will direct you on how to get the best professional advice as part of our service. From the time you arrive we will give you the information and the knowledge you need to adjust to life studying at the campus. Our orientation program is tailored to each student and we can guide you on: planning and managing your time, improving your reading and writing skills, Preparing for assessment, assignments and exams. Each of our Departments has a Director of Studies who, as well as your tutor, can help you with any academic matter.
Arrival and Orientation
All new students are required to take part in an orientation program, usually conducted in the first week. The program includes sessions covering the use of computers and computer log-ins, tour of the campus, an introduction to the services and facilities available, an overview the college rules, information on adapting to study, and meeting key members of staff and other students.
Student Activity Program
Regular activities are planned during the week, these include movie nights, sport, field trips or excursions. The student administrator can provide information on upcoming events and trips. All students are encouraged to participate. With a host of wonderful land marks and places of interest around Kapiti students get to see the sights, practice their skills and build friendships with students from all over the world. Our quality control standards are high and your satisfaction is of paramount importance.

Shawn has over 10 years experience training students and business people in a range of commerce subjects and computer applications. He has also assisted International Students study and live in NZ since 2001. Shawn is well experienced to help students achieve within the NZ education system. Shawn is aware of the advantages of working in a friendly, professional and positive environment so he is committed to ensure we provide this to all staff and students.
We are supported by a highly experienced team of teaching and support staff to ensure everyone has the best opportunities available. They enjoy developing programs and courses that maximize and accelerate student learning to open a whole new future of possibilities.
Together our team has extensive experience working with overseas and New Zealand students of various ages, levels and cultural backgrounds. As part of her commitment to ensuring her students succeed, Vanita has also provided professional pastoral care to students from a variety of countries.
