Discover your joy in painting.

We are all born as a potential genius:
After it we are taught, instructed, trained and trained.
And gone are the colors. Gone is the joy. A tragedy.

I guarantee you a lot: At the latest you paint one hour after beginning.
You paint your own pictures.
You remember suddenly that you can do that.
You discover your joy in painting. You feel this desire with yourself, with your painting.
You begin to see differently: with the eyes of creative human beings.
You enrich your life.
And that will affect yourself everywhere: privately, professionally, in your liveliness:
The one who perceives differently is able to realize differently.

I also tell you what you don’t get.
You do not get perfection: perfection is the end of creation.
But I am absolutely convinced that you will discover the joy of painting.
Why?
Many people and institutions tried to kill the painter in myself.
I looked carefully at thousands of pictures of other painters.
I needed many, many years of patient work on thousands of sketches, pictures until I was able to create my truly own, unique pictures.
Thatīs why I can make it easy for you.

Participants:
For everyone who wants to discover his joy of painting. The group normally is limited to 7 participants.

Schedule:
We begin with the dinner on the day of arrival. Usually we work in four phases:
of approx. 9 am to 1 pm, after that until 4:30 pm recovery and individual tasks, then until 8:00 pm with new work and inputs, in the evening optional discussions. In the afternoon break you have the possibility to swim in the turquoise blue Aegean Sea.

Next dates:
19th - 23rd of May 2008 and
8th - 12th of September 2008

Faculty Information:
Mentor of Joy of Painting is C.P.Seibt, Artist, MA, MCC, Dean of the NomadicArtAcademy.

All that I know from my own development: learning, growing, gaining knowledge, working untiringly, triumphs, doubts, listening to authorities, being hurt by destructive criticism and being enticed by applause, but this was not enough.

I tried all possible methods and ways and some impossible ones, working in completely different cultures.

Many people and institutions tried to kill the painter in myself.
I looked carefully at thousands of pictures of other painters.
I needed many, many years of patient work on thousands of sketches, pictures until I was able to create my truly own, unique pictures.
Thatīs why I can make it easy for you.

Cordially welcome, yours C.P.Seibt

Facility Information:
Where it happens:

On Paros-Cyclades-Greece.
Paros is one of the most varied islands in the Aegean Sea, in the midst of the Cyclades. The capital, Parikia and the old port of Naoussa belong to the most beautiful places of the Cyclades. Already in the very old times Paros was the island of the art, because of its excellent and famous, lucent white marble.

Paros offers very much: original Greek atmosphere, fascinating nature, with hills after hills, structured by terraces for centuries, in spring over and over green, white, yellow, red, full of blossoms, the summer woven in by the gentle pastel of the fields. The traditional small villages in the typically cycladic style gleam like watercolors of August Macke - white washed houses, blue shades in the tangle of the alleys, everywhere blossoms on the balconies, swung arcades, trees which defied the wind already a long time, everywhere the smell of herbs, small Greek Tavernas, little churches and chapels, protected by bright red or radiating blue, archaeological excavations, many impressive monasteries, scattered everywhere. And breathtaking sunrises in the east and sunsets in the west. All this in the radiating, completely pure light or under a sparkling starlit sky.

Lodging:
Single lodging in quiet, nice, practical Cycladic style apartments, direct at the sea, near to our workplace, in walking distance to the village Parikia.

Notes:
5 days course incl. material and equipment, single lodging in quiet, nice, practical Cycladic style apartments, direct at the sea, in walking distance to the village Parikia.
