The College is situated in the French speaking village of Ste Adèle, about an hour North of Montréal. The village is located in the Laurentian mountains, with close proximity to a lake, a 120 mile cycle route, a river, forest, lakes, a natural beach etc. The College buildings are located within walking and cycling distance of restaurants, shops and coffee bars in the heart of the village itself. The property backs onto woods and is very quiet. We own a 15 seater van and we never hesitate to drive our students to Montreal when the opportunity arises, especially at the weekends, to make the most of the city nightlife and Summer entertainment (the La Ronde entertainment park, the Jazz Festival, the World Firework competition, the Francopholies festival).
Clientèle
Our target age group is 16-20 and the programme is co-ed. We welcome all levels of French speakers, from beginner to advance We welcome all levels of French speakers, from beginner to advance. A self-assessment is carried out at the time of registration and final evaluation is carried out on arrival. We normally cater for teenagers aged 16-18 all year round through our college programme and our staff are therefore extremely well equipped at dealing with that age group. Our total capacity per week is 12 students and we are therefore very much a “tailor made” and individualised programme which places the emphasis on quick individual progress in French and good congenial group chemistry, with much interaction with our fully trained staff. It is a very structured camp which reflects in many ways the care and attention we provide all year round to our full-time students.
