The classes are aimed at people who love writing, experienced or unexperienced. Everyone finds it fun to write that first draft. During this weekend we will examine how to get past this stage and reach you the tools to edit your own work up to publishing standard. We combine serious writing workshops (8 hours all together) with well deserved relaxation. There is the opportunity to swimm, snorkle, lounge, read. You can also keep writing or go for a walk. It will be interesting to exchange your experiences with other writers. You are sure to enjoy the lovely homecooked food, prepared with natural products from Methana itself and its delicious wine.
Courses take place on the roof terrace. From here you can see the Saronic Gulf spread out all around; with five Islands including Aegina and Angistri, and the mountains of the Eastern Peloponnese with Epidavros nestling in their foothills.

The weekend starts on Saturday morning 10 o'clock. People coming from Athens will be picked up from the ferry by Mariel. There will be 8 hours tuition during the weekend. For a detailed programm send an email to Mariel.
Other Activities:
Limnisa Centre is on a little headland 20 metres from the beach. You can literally live with your feet in the water. A perfect place for snorkelling to look at the colourful fish and volcanic rock formations. We have snorkelling equipment and wetsuits which guests are welcome to try.
Facility Information:
Accommodation is at Limnisa itself. Either in a private room, or a shared room. The guests will use the Limnisa facilities. All rooms look out over the sea and the island of Angistri. The beach is 20meters from the rooms. The garden is dotted with tamarisk trees, orange trees, pines and shrubs, with only an old stone wall to separate it from the beach. Then it follows the line of the cliff, with rosemary, cistus and broom. A path leads to the next bay. There are plenty of sunny and shady places to sit on your own and reflect, keep writing or read a book; you can go to sleep in a hammock or enjoy good talks with others on one of the three paved terraces.
Limnisa is a secluded spot, but only 15 minute walk from Ag. Georgios - a little village with two tavernas and a harbour with fishing boats.
A walk of 30 minutes along the picturesque road in the other direction takes you to Ag.Nikolaos, another small coastal village with tavernas on the sea front, and also a hot sulphur bath described by Pausanius nearly two thousand years ago.
Or you can take a walk up the old mule paths above the centre, through a landscape of stone terraced slopes and old olive groves with views back down to the sea and out across to the islands.

Price includes 8 hours tuition, shared accommodation at Limnisa (private accommodation available against extra charge), full board (one breakfast, two lunches, a dinner with wine and snacks and coffeebreaks with homemade cakes,etc), use of all Limnisa facilities: secluded beach, use of snorkle equipment, bikes, etc., transport from Methana harbour to Limnisa (15 min) on Saturday and from Limnisa to Methana harbour on Sunday.
