Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival at Maiquetia Airport, Caracas; flight to Los Roques
A yacht will be waiting for you at Los Roques, a lobster supper (when lobster is in season) on board, to take you through this turquoise and gold Caribbean paradise and watch the sun set. Overnight on board the yacht. Includes: (D).
Day 2: Los Roques
Spend the day sailing around the archipelago, stopping in choice spots to snorkel and sunbathe. Overnight on board the yacht. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 3: Los Roques – Caracas – Canaima
Return to Gran Roque to take the flight back to Caracas and from there the connection to Canaima National Park. The Waku Lodge is the best in Venezuela with an amazing view of waterfalls hurtling down into the Canaima lagoon. Overnight at Waku Lodge. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 4: Canaima: Kavac canyon
Explore Kavac, a beautiful canyon with clear waters and colorful rock carved out of Auyantepuy, the Angel Falls mountain. Overnight at Waku Lodge. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 5: Canaima: Canaima Lagoon, Sapo Falls, Angel Falls by helicopter
After breakfast, take a boat to get closer to the waterfalls and then walk right underneath Sapo Falls itself. After lunch at the lodge, take a special visit to Angel Falls, the highest waterfall in the world — by helicopter — and have a glass of wine at its summit. Overnight at Waku Lodge. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 6: Canaima: Tepuis by helicopter
Fly to Santa Elena de Uairen, then take a 2-hour helicopter trip to the Roraima and Kukenan tepuis (normally a 6-day trek) enjoying the stupendous views (and some snacks) on the top. Then hop over to the Quebrada de Jaspe, a beautiful waterfall which flows over red rocks. Fly back to Canaima. Overnight at Waku Lodge.
Day 7: Caracas – Tortuga Island
Fly back to Caracas and take a charter flight for a day trip to Tortuga Island. Overnight a Ole Caribe. Includes: (B), (D).
