This trip is an experience where you will arrive at the Ahyirensu Naturalist Centre after a 2-hour drive up the Akuapim Range near Aburi. You will learn about cocoa, pineapple and other vegetation in this area. You may make your own pineapple juice or eat raw cocoa. This farm is ecologically advanced, only organic farming techniques are used. A portion of your fee will go to support the training of young Ghanaians in agricultural techniques.
You may even plant a tree and leave your heart in Ghana. Lunch is rice and chicken served outside on the farm. This is an outing, wear appropriate shoes and clothing; a hat is recommended.
