Description:
It is an archaeological tour introducing the ancient history of Central Asia. 180 km from Almaty, in the deserted natural boundary Tamgaly-Tas near the Anrahai mountains, is a picture gallery of ancient men. The gallery has over 4,000 Petroglyphs, the earliest dating back as far as XVI-XIV centuries BC. Those unique petrogliphs show images of ancient inhabitants of Kazakhstan, their culture, home and way of life. On the way back there is an option to visit the Valley of King Burial Mounds, which are the tallest in Semirechye and still have a lot of mysteries.
