* Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrive at the airport - met and transferred to hotel - for overnight in Arusha.
- Day 2
Day game drive in Arusha National Park - accommodation at Impala hotel.
- Day 3
Depart Impala hotel for Tarangire National Park - afternoon game drive - accommodation Sopa Lodge or equivalent.
- Day 4
Full days game drive - Tarangire National Park - accommodation Sopa Lodge or Serena.
- Day 5
Full day in Tarangire National Park - accommodation Sopa Lodge or Serena.
- Da 6
Depart Tarangire for Ngorongoro Crater - accommodation either in the conservation area or village outside, both places will be in lodges.
- Day 7
Full days game drive in the Ngorongoro crater conservation area including descending into the crater - accommodation either back in Karatu village or in the conservation area.
- Day 8
Ngorongoro Crater conservation area, visiting a local Maasai village with a walk to some local waterfalls or even visit the Empekai crater for a walk, Empakai is more strenuous! Accommodation either back in Karatu or at lodge in conservation area.
- Day 9
Full days game drive back into the Ngorongoro Crater - accommodation either back in Karatu or Lodge in conservation area.
- Day 10
Depart Ngorongoro Crater for the Serengeti. You drive via Olduvai Gorge - accommodation in a lodge in the park, to be confirmed which one!
- Day 11
Full day game drive in the Serengeti - accommodation in a lodge in the park.
- Day 12
Game drive in the Serengeti but you drive to the northern part of the park to a new area and another lodge. The migration is in this area somewhere. Accommodation in lodge.
- Day 13
Serengeti Game drive searching out the migration and area - accommodation in lodge.
- Day 14
Depart the Serengeti from the northern gate and take the road down the easternside of the park to Lake Natron. A long days drive but very interesting terrain and you pass through a new tribal area, see if you can tell the differences! Accommodation at permanent tented camp.
- Day 15
A day at lake Natron, visit the flamingo breading ground, local Maasai Village, walk up to so waterfalls. If you want to try to climb Oldonyo Lengai you could. Climb starts midnight and you arrive on top between 6/7 am. A very difficult climb.
- Day 16
If you climbed Lengai you will return back midday. Other wise an easy morning and depart for the drive back to Arusha. Accommodation back at Imapla hotel Arusha.
- Day 17
Flight down to Zanzibar. After checking into your hotel, time to explore the old town. Accommodation at local hotel.
- Day 18
Transfer to beach lodge close to PADI centre - relax - accommodation at beach lodge.
- Day 19
Full day at beach lodge.
- Day 20
Full day at beach lodge.
- Day 21
Return flight to Arusha/Nairobi to connect your international flight back home.
