Discover the hidden side of Cyprus far from the madding tourist crowds. The far west of the island is home to the most unspoilt coastal region on the island, the Akamas peninsula. It's rugged terrain and stunning coastal views will take your breath away, as will the gorgeous gorges in the valleys surrounding your luxurious accommodation base, near the pretty harbour town of Latchi.
Join us on one of our centre based walking holidays and discover hidden Cyprus: lush forest trails scented with wild herbs and aromatic pine and eucalyptus; steep sided valleys and gorges formed after millenia of erosion; the natural flora and fauna on the island.
The best time to visit Cyprus for a walking holiday is in the Spring (Feb-end April) when the landscape is ablaze with colourful Spring flowers and the heat of summer has not yet dried up the lush green fields. Temperatures are pleasantly warm and the sun nearly always shines making it a pleasure to explore the myriad of tracks and trails in the region.
Your hosts live on the island and have a passion for the great outdoors as well as the fine local food on the island. You can be sure you will get to sample the best food (and wine!) in the area.
Your accommodation is in our luxurious stone house set high on a hillside with spectacular views of the Chrysochous bay. Here you can relax and enjoy your luxurious ensuite room with cool, crisp cotton linen. You will have unforgettable views from your room or our spacious roof terrace and the use of the Pool and hot tub.
Our walks are aimed at people who enjoy walking for 15-20km per day but our programme can be flexed according to the needs of the group.
Expect the day to start around 9.30am with a short transfer to start your walk at 10am finishing by 4.30pm (earlier starts in hotter months).
Groups sizes are small (2-8 persons) but we can also cater for large walking groups wishing to organise a group holiday ( please ask for details)
Lunches are either picnic style or taken at a taverna en route.
The style of our holiday is totally relaxed and we include 1 rest day to allow time to unwind or try another activity.
Special tours can be arranged by request for an additional cost eg. wine or historical/archeological tours.
PLEASE NOTE - Week long tours are NOT AVAILABLE JULY & AUGUST due to the extreme heat.
PLEASE NOTE ALSO: Our small group holidays are UNSUITABLE FOR CHILDREN due to the distance and terrain covered.

- Five evening meals. Allow EUROS €18-20 for evening meal including drinks/wine.
- Flights. Most guests prefer the flexibility of booking their own flights. Week long holidays start and end on a Saturday or Wednesday (flexible for large group bookings).
