Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: OUr tour guide will meet you at the airport and fly with you to Beijing. The adventure begins!

Day 2: You will arrive in Beijing in the early evening. Our international guide will lead you through the entry process and customs. Our Beijing guide and transportation will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. After checking you in and a brief orientation meeting the rest of the night it free.

Day 3: After a buffet breakfast we will take you to TianAnmen Square and the Forbidden City. We will explore not only the buildings, but also the Enperor's Clock Collection and the Qing Robes and Jewelry Collection. After lunch we will take you to the Beijing Zoo Panda Exhibit. Evening option: Beijing Opera

Day 4: We will start the day with a tour of a Chinese Hutong, which are the traditional Chinese neighborhoods. The tour begins with a rickshaw ride through the narrow streets of an old Beijing neighborhood. Then you will continue on foot to visit a residence. After lunch we will take you to your concert hall for a sound check and a rehearsal. Evening: concert, followed by a reception.

Day 5: Today we will go to the Ming Tombs and the Great Wall of China! We will visit Emperor Ding-a-Ling's tomb and the new museum which houses several of the items which were in the tomb. After lunch we will go onto the Great Wall of China. (B), (L), (D)

Day 6 : You will take the morning flight to Xi'an where your local guide will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. After lunch you will be given a short tour of the city including the City Wall. Then we will take you to the Wild Goose Pagoda.

Day 7 : Today we will take you to what has been called the "8th Wonder of the World" the Terra Cotta Soldiers Museum. After lunch we will take you to the Hua Qing Hot Springs. Then we will go to your concert hall for a late afternoon sound check and rehearsal. We will take you for a nice Dim Sum dinner. Evening: Concert.

Day 8 : We will take you to the World-Class Shangxi Provincial Museum. After lunch we will take you to the airport for a flight Shanghai. The guide will transfer you to the hotel. After you are settled we will take you to the historic Bund, with its European Seafront. We will eat dinner in the area and watch how the Bund is transformed at night.

Day 9: Today we will take you to the Jade Buddha Temple. Then we will go to the Jade Factory and eat lunch at the Mongolian Barbeque. After lunch you will go to the beautiful Yu Yuan Gardens.

Day 10: The morning begins with a tour of the world-class Shanghai Museum with its many fine exhibits. After lunch we will take you to your concert hall for a sound check and rehearsal. Evening: Concert followed by a reception.

Day 11: Today we will take the train to beautiful city of Suzhou. Then you will go to the Tiger Hill and the Leaning Pagoda. After lunch we will visit the Humble Administrator's Garden.

Day 12: The morning will start with a visit to the Suzhou Music Institute, which instructs students in both traditional Chinese and Western music. They will give you demonstrations of their music follows by your choir and the students of the university exchanging performances for each other. The day ends with a train ride back to Shanghai.

Day 13: The morning is free. After lunch your guide will transfer you back to the airport for your return flight to the USA with a lifetime of wonderful memories.
