The tour starts in Moscow. That will give you a chance to see much of the Russian capital. But Moscow can not be considered as being purely Russian, like New York is so much different from the rest of USA. Moscow is a metropolis which has its own style and pace of life. Move fifty miles from Moscow and you will be amazed how different life can be. The Golden Ring is formed by ancient Russian cities located to the northeast of the capital. You will have a great chance of seeing the country side and enjoy authentic Russian experience.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival to Sheremetyevo airport in the afternoon. Guided transfer to hotel. Accommodation in hotel. Dinner.
Day 2: Breakfast in hotel. Bus sightseeing tour of Moscow Red Square, GUM department store, Lenin Mausoleum, Moscow University, Russian "White House". Lunch. In the Afternoon Tour of the Moscow Kremlin including two cathedrals. Dinner.
Day 3: Breakfast in hotel. Tour of the Trinity Saint Sergius Lavra, located 60 km out of Moscow (the heart of the Russian Orthodox church, headquarters of the Russian Patriarch) and the tomb of Boris Godunov. Lunch. In the afternoon transfer to Suzdal. Accommodation in hotel. Dinner.
Day 4: Breakfast in hotel. Tour of Suzdal including Kremlin (fortress), Assumption cathedral (build in 1713). Lunch. Transfer to Vladimir (founded in 1108). Tour of Vladimir, including Golden Gates (build in 1158-1164), Assumption cathedral (build in 1158-1160, 1185-1189). Dinner. Night in Suzdal hotel.
Day 5: Breakfast in hotel. Transfer to Palekh. Tour of the museum of lacquered boxes. Lunch. In the afternoon visit of lacquered boxes and icon production companies. Transfer to Kostroma (founded in 12 century). Accommodation in hotel. Dinner.
Day 6: Breakfast in hotel. Transfer to Yaroslavl (1010). Tour of Kremlin (fortress). Transfer and tour of Rostov the Great (first mentioned in chronicles 862 AD). Tour of the Kremlin buildings (16-17 centuries). Transfer to Pereslavl-Zalessky (1152). Lunch. In the afternoon Transfer to Moscow. Dinner. Overnight train to Saint-Petersburg.
Day 7: Arrival to Saint-Petersburg. Breakfast in hotel. Bus sightseeing tour of the city. Lunch. Accommodation in hotel. In the afternoon the tour of Peterhoff (Petrodvorezh). Dinner.
Day 8: Breakfast in hotel. Tour of Hermitage. Lunch. In the afternoon the tour of Peter and Paul's fortress. Dinner.
Day 9: Breakfast in hotel. Free time for shopping. Lunch. In the afternoon transfer to airport.

Note: In case you have a group of 15 tourists we can customize the trip for your needs. In this case the tour can start from Saint -Petersburg and end in Moscow and changes at your request can be done in the itinerary of the tour.
