Yosemite National Park.
Come join us on this 2 nights and 3 days backpacking and 2 nights in the backcountry for novice backpackers and hikers. We will guide you through the basics of back country travel, map & compass, "Leave No Trace" camping, cookery, packing light, along with Sierra Nevada natural history, geology, and wildflower identification. Daily mileage and altitude gain & loss will be low for maximum enjoyment and learning. We meet on the first day at 8:00 am on the first night through approximately 3:30 pm on the last day!
