Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Depart for Thailand in the late evening.

Day 2: In flight.

Day 3: Arrive in Thailand around mid-day. Our guide will meet you and transfer you to the hotel to freshen up. Then we will take you to dinner and a complimentary Thai Massage.

Day 4: Today begins with a trip to the Golden Buddha Temple. Afterward you will visit the Reclining Buddha Temple, which features a giant Buddha statue over 100 feet in length. After lunch you will go to the incredible Grand Palace with Wat Pra Kaeo.
Evening: Traditional Thai dinner with classical dances, traditional performances, and beautiful costumes. Meals: (B), (L) and (D).

Day 5: Today you will fly to Chiang Mai. There your guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore. Meals: (B), (L).

Day 6: The day begins with a visit to the Doi Suthep, the ancient temple site. Tnis is one of the areas where the dress needs to be conservative. Afterward there will be a trip to the Handicraft "villages". Visit the Chiang Mai and Tribal Research Center with guide. Evening Option: The Night Market. Meals: (B), (L) and (D).

Day 7: After breakfast you will visit the Elephant Camp, see the elephant show and cultural show, take a one hour elephant ride, go on a bamboo raft and learn about the noble Asian elephant and the worker monkeys. You will also visit the Orchid Farm. Evening - Khantoke dinner with hill tribe dances (spectacular show, dance, music and costumes). Meals: (B), (L) and (D).

Day 8: After breakfast you will go on an excursion to visit the hill tribe villages where you will meet the Aca, the Hmong, Yao and the Karen. Many of the natives have stands with handicrafts, hats, weaving, embroideries, etc. Lunch will be at local restaurants along the way. Then you will arrive in Chiang Rai and check into the hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant in Chiang Rai. Meals: (B), (L) and (D).

Day 9: Today you will visit the Queen Mother's Home and Garden, Doi Tung. Then we will return you to your hotel. Meals: (B), (L) and (D).

Day 10: The day begins with a drive to the Burmese border. Then you will go to the historic Golden Triangle where three countries share a border: Thailand, Laos and Burma (Myanmar). You will see the small Opium Museum and where two rivers join the three nations. Then you will take a ride on a small river boat to the Burmese side and stop on a small island owned by Laos. You will then take the evening flight from Chiang Rai to Bangkok, where your guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. Meals: (B), (L) and (D).

Day 11: You leave early in the morning to visit the Floating Market. Here you will ride on the canals through an older Thai river neighborhood and onto the actual Floating Market area. You will have lunch at the Rose Garden and enjoy the grounds. Possibly go to the cobra show. Then we return you to your hotel. Evening option: The Joe Louis Puppet Show. Meals: (B).

Day 12: Today you fly to Siem Reap where your guide will meet you and transfer you to the best hotel in Siem Reap, the Grand Angkor, which is a premium 5-star hotel. The rest of the day is free to rest and enjoy the grounds. Meals: (B), (L) and (D).

Day 13: We will begin the Angkor Wat tour with Angkor Thom, the ancient city, and Angkor Wat, the ancient temple City. After a mid-day break you will go to the ancient temple of Angkor Wat itself. Then we will take a late afternoon cruise on Ton Le Sap (the Great Lake). Afterwards you will return to your hotel. Meals: (B), (L).

Day 14: You will visit the Ta Prohm and Bantay Srei. Evening option: Sunset view from mound of Phnom Bakeng. Meals: (B) and (D).

Day 15: Today we will take you outside of Phnom Penh to a rural area at Angkor Borei, as well as some ancient temples. Along the way you will also get into small motorboats across a small lake and stop at a local village where you can meet the local people.

Day 16: Today you will leave Phnom Penh and fly home with a lifetime of memories!
