Renowned for being one of the world's best walking destinations, Tasmania is also filled with mountain biking trails that exist mostly unmapped and unpublished. Spend 9 or 13 days exploring some of the best trails and mountain biking available anywhere, in an environment that savors the outdoors. Some days will be demanding on the body and bike, others will be scenic and a little more leisurely. Whatever each day entail expect diverse landscapes, ever-changing scenery and exhilarating days of riding.
Day 1 - Launceston - riding at Trevallyn
Day 2 - Depart for Penguin and the Dial Range
Day 3 - Biking at Fulton Park, then transfer to Cradle Mountain
Day 4 - Follow the Wildside Trail from Cradle to Tullah
Day 5 - Tullah to Seehan
Day 6 - Ride to Franville Harbour then transfer to Strahan
Day 7 - Free day in Strahan
Day 8 - Start the southern section of the Tasmanian Trail
Day 9 - Bike the Tasmanian Trail from New Norfolk to Port Huon
Day 10 - Geeveston to Dover, then back to Hobart via Fern Tree
Day 11 - Hobard riding - Big Bend Trail
Day 12 - Take a side trip to the east coast to Maria Island
Day 13 - Hobart activities and depart.
