Desert red rock and the Green River offer dramatic settings for this unique hiking getaway. This escape is one of our company's most remote.
Highlights include:
- The Mighty Colorado River
- Arches National Park
- Natural Bridges National Monument
- Native Ruins, Pictographs (Paintings) and Petroglyphs (Carvings)
See how time has carved an immense sea of canyons and mazes. In this geologist’s paradise, you can view almost every rock formation created in the Colorado Plateau over the past 250 million years.
You’ll hike in Dead Horse Point State Park and enjoy far-reaching views into Canyonlands National Park with the mighty Colorado River 2,000 feet below. In Arches National Park, you’ll weave through a wonderland of standing desert rocks and visit eight famous arches including Landscape Arch, the largest in the world.
From here, you’ll head out to explore native ruins in Natural Bridges National Monument where the Anasazi once flourished. You’ll then transfer to Bluff, Utah, a charming, turn-of-the-century town and your home for the next two nights.
In Bluff, hike to preserved ruins, view granaries, pictographs and petroglyphs and perhaps even find an ancient arrowhead. Get away and enjoy the secrets of the Southwest with our company.
