Tour Itinerary
Day 1: After Breakfast. Day 2: After breakfast Drive to Old Cairo, where early Judaism and Christianity flourished in Egypt. Visit the Hanging church dates back to 3rd century AD, Saint Sergius and Saint Barbara church then to Ben Ezra Synagogue. Then drive to the Islamic quarter to see the Great Citadel built by Saladdin in 1169 AD built in 12 century AD. Find out why did he build it? Why did he choose this site? Who is Saladin?
And visit the Mohamed Ali Mosque one of the landmarks in Cairo very similar to the Blue Mosque in Turkey, also known as the "Alabaster Mosque", The Alabaster Mosque finds out why it called so? Who is Mohamed Ali? What are the secrets inside this mosque? And we end the day with the famous Khan el Khalili Baszaar that dates back to 1382. Back to hotel.
