For 2007, six camp dates are reserved for the “Girlfriend Getaway” Day Camps. Invite your favorite group of girls or women and register soon to reserve one of these dates for your group! Women ages 18 to 70 are invited. Advanced beginner to intermediate swimming skills are required of participants. Physical fitness is essential.
Girlfriend Getaway Weekenders extends your fun, learning experience with your chosen group of women to a two day camp event with our Weekender option. The weekend event provides students two full days of instruction to learn surf skills. It extends their personal ocean practice time with coaches. It gives students a weekend of girlfriend bonding while learning a challenging sport together.
The nutritious, organic catered lunch is unique on each day. Accommodations for overnight lodging are care of Seaside International Hostel in Seaside, Oregon. Transportation to and from the Hostel to the beach camp location is provided. All surfboard and wet suit equipment is included and you’ll be “custom fitted” on the first day of the weekend event. Surf integrated beach yoga is held both mornings.
