Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Leave Nairobi by a Safari vehicle accompanied by our mountain guide arriving Nanyuki in time for lunch. Afternoon is spent in Nanyuki acclimatizing. Dinner and overnight in a hotel in Nanyuki.
Day 2: After breakfast you will be transferred by a 4x4 WD to the Met Station and the Park headquarters. Walk up to Old Moses (Judmier Camp), (3,350m). Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 3: After breakfast, walk via Mackinders Valley to Shipton Camp (4200). Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 4: Walk up very early in the morning around 02.30 hrs. ready to hike to point Lenana (4985m). On s clear day, we should be able to see Mt. Kilimanjaro to the South, Mt Elgon to the west and the Indian Ocean to the east. After point Lenana, descend to Mintos (4250m) for breakfast then proceed to Road head for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: After breakfast, an early walk will take us to Chogoria for lunch then back to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon having conquered Mt. Kenya.
