Sea kayak navigation:
Once you have a kayak, and know how to move it through the water, it is essential that you know where you are. This is especially true if you are dealing with reduced visibility in unfamiliar waters. During this intensive weekend course Scott Cunningham will cover the fundamental aspects of sea kayak navigation in depth, drawing from years of touring in waters as far afield as BC and Europe. This will be an “on the water” course (and include a night paddle). Prerequisites: Basic kayak, and map and compass skills.
Dates: May 30.
Fee:$185 CAD (includes equipment, tents site and meals).
