Best Season: Canaima is a marvelous place, it doesn’t matter the season, but to arrive to the Angel Fall by boat, is necessary visit the place during rainy season. But weather is changing continually, please consult the river conditions.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Take a flight from Ciudad Bolívar or Caracas to Canaima National Park, assistance at the airport, meet your tour guide in the camp, and get ready to start the adventure!!! Curiaras (boat) are waiting, to give you a ride to the highest fall in the world, Angel Fall. Once in Raton Island, take your trekking boots and prepare your eyes, to catch this greens color around. One hour walking through rainforest and finally arrive to the view point.
Sleep in jungle camp, hammocks.
Day 2: We get our staff, to take the boat down through Churúm and Carrao River, going back to Canaima Lagoon, and have this close experience with the powerfull Sapo fall, walking underneath it, and feeling all this energy, continue with a boat ride in front of the pretty waterfalls. Start the way back to main Camp. Transfer to the Airport to take your flight back to Ciudad Bolívar/Puerto Ordaz.
Recommend bringing:
- Light clothes (preferably cotton).
- Pair of solid shoes and pair of light spare shoes
- T-shirts
- Rain gear
- Small daypack
- Sunglasses, a hat, sun protection and sun blocker for sensitive skin, insect repellent
- Flashlight
- Cameras and films.
