Your Itinerary

Day of arrival: On the day of arrival, you will be transferred from Livingstone Airport to Maramba River Lodge which is right in Mosi-o-tunya National Park and just a few minutes drive to the Victoria Falls. After having an hour of refreshing yourself, you will go for an afternoon Sunset Luxury River Cruise on the African Queen Vessel on the waters of The Mighty Zambezi River. Thereafter, you will have Dinner and spend your first night at Maramba River Lodge.

Day 1-Day 3: After early breakfast, clients will have a bus transfer to Lusaka International Airport. You will have light lunch and drinks on the way. You will then be transferred by an Aircraft to Luangwa National Park and will be lodging at Kafunta River Lodge. You will stay 3 nights and 2 days in South Luangwa National Park.

South Luangwa National Park - This is acknowledged as one of the greatest Wildlife Sanctuaries in Africa and is rated as one of the top game reserves in the world. This is a must see Park for every tourist visiting Zambia.

This is the only Park in the world where you will find the Thorncraft Giraffe and Crookston’s Wild Beast. You will also be able to see the African Elephant, Buffalo, Lion, Leopard, Puku, Impala and many more.

Over 400 recorded species are found in and around the Park. Some of the special but rare birds that may be seen are the African Skimmer, Western bundled snake eagle, bat hawk, red necked falcon, Peel’s fishing owl, Pale billed hornbill.

Activities you will do may include walking safaris, day and night game drives, village tours and fishing.

Day 4: After breakfast, you will be transferred by an aircraft back to Lusaka International Airport. You will have an afternoon tour of Lusaka the capital city of Zambia and spend a night.

Day 5-Day 7: You will then be transferred by bus to Lake Kariba and stay on the House Boat in Sinazongwe. Lake Kariba is the largest man made lake in the world. The lake hosts Chete Island National park and other Islands too with a lot of Wildlife and Birdlife.

Take the opportunity to cruise the waters of Lake Kariba, enjoying the stunning scenes of Islands, Shores of Zambia and Zimbabwe and the beautiful Chete Gorge. Observe the activities of the wildlife and catch the frequent activity of elephant swimming between the shores as you float and relax on the Kohlisa 1 Luxury House Boat. You will stay 3 nights and 2 days on the House Boat.

Your activities here begin the afternoon you arrive from Lusaka. After your arrival on the Boat, you willhave the chance to relax, enjoy a cold drink and a beautiful sunset. You will enjoy a feast dinner prepared by the Chef and spend the evening as you wish, a great chance to acquaint yourself with the fully stocked bar, enjoying the company of friends and nature at its finest.

Early the next morning, the House Boat will depart for Maaze Island, where you will enjoy a beautiful lake breeze as you have your full breakfast. After morning at Maaze Island, you will visit one of the largest Crocodile Farms and experience viewing huge crocodiles and prolific bird life in natural breeding dams. After this, you will return to the House Boat for Lunch and then have a chance to pass away sometime fishing, game viewing by tender boat, relaxing in the pool or catching some sun on the sundeck. Then you will have another fantastic dinner and a romantic night on the House Boat.

The following morning will see you heading into Chete National Park for an excellent chance to see more elephants, buffalo, impala, warthog, water buck and hippos. This is also a Bird Sanctuary for about 170 species.

On the final morning, you will have breakfast while enroute back to harbor for your bus transfer back to Livingstone on Day 8.

Day 8: You will now be staying at Natural Mystic which is just on the Banks of the Zambezi River.

Day 9: You will now do the long awaited tour of the Victoria Falls and Mukuni Tradition African Village. You will also have a visit to the Livingstone Crocodile Park and to the two Livingstone Museums.

Day 10: After Breakfast, you will have a Rhino Walk or Walking Safari in Mosi-o-tunya National Park. This is the only Park where you can see the White Rhinos in Zambia.

After Lunch, you will have a choice of either a Ride or Walk with an African tamed elephant.

Day 11: You will then be transferred to Songwe Village where you will experience an African type of lodging but without missing any modern facility.

Day 12-Day 17: You will do the following activities

(a) Bunji Jump
(b) Tandem
(c) Bridge Tour
(d) Half day Abseil
(e) Flying fox or Cable Slide
(f) Full Day white Water Rafting
(g) Afternoon Helicopter Flight over the falls, gorges
and the Zambezi River
(h) Half day canoeing and
(i) Afternoon River Safari.

Day 18-Day 19: You will be transferred to Chobezi in Botswana for a two days and two nights Safari. This is a must do Safari in the Chobezi National Park and Chobezi River in Botswana.

Day 20: You will be transferred back to Zambia, now staying at the Zambezi River as you overlook the Victoria Falls. You will relax at the hotel on this day either by the beautiful pool side or the grounds and gardens as you watch Zebra, Giraffe or Impalas walk around.

Day 21: Departure Day. You will then be transferred to Livingstone Airport to catch your place back to your destination.
