An adventure to central Mexico with a taste of high altitude mountain climbing and Mexican culture. A perfect first-step for those with high altitude mountain climbing goals. After a brief tour of Mexico City, we will travel to the ancient and mysterious pyramids of Teotihuacan as we begin our acclimating. Then it's on to the volcano La Malinche near the historical city of Puebla for an acclimating climb of this 14'er. After a brief rest and exploration of Puebla (and it's fine cuisine), we journey to Pico de Orizaba (Citlatepetl) for an attempt of North America's third tallest mountain.

We provide private ground transportation and our lodging choices are among the finest with your comfort in mind. A great trip for those with limited time and high altitude goals. Level: Previous ice axe and crampon experience required.
