Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Lhasa
Our Tibetan English-speaking tour guide will meet you at Gonggar Airport and greet you with a white scarf (called kada) in a Tibetan traditional way. Then transfer you to your hotel in Lhasa (about 100km’s driving). Upon arrival, just take rest for high altitude acclimatization. Accommodation: New Mandala Hotel or Similar if late booking.
Day 2: Lhasa
We may start from the spiritual center of Tibetan Buddhism - Jokhang Temple and the bustling Barkhor Street around it. In the afternoon, we'll visit the most beautiful splendor in Tibet - Potala Palace, the symbol of Tibetan people's wisdom and power. And at evening, pay a visit to a local Tibetan family. Accommodation: New Mandala Hotel or Similar. Includes: (B).
Day 3: Lhasa-Gyantse-Shigatse
In the fresh morning air, we'll drive about 270km to the historical town of Gyantse crossing Karola Pass (5010m) and Khambala Pass (4800m) with a beautiful panorama of the beautiful Yamdrok Yumtso Lake. Upon arrival, visit the famous Pelkor Monastery and its superb Kumbu Stupa, a stunning architectural wonder in Tibet. Then we'll get forward to Shigatse, the second largest city in Tibet. Accommodation: Shigatse Yak Hotel or Similar. Includes: (B).
Day 4: Shigatse-Shegar. Drive about 250km to Tingri via the Gantsola Pass (5200m). Accommodation: Guesthouse. Includes: (B).
Day 5: Shegar-EBC-Old Tingri. It is around 100km's bumpy road from Tingri to teh Rongbuk Monastery and the Mt. Everest Base Camp (EBC). Upon arrival, it is your life-long experience with this highest mountain in the world. Accommodation: Guesthouse. Includes: (B).
Day 6: Old Tingri-Zhangmu. Drive about 200km to Zhangmu, a border town between China and Nepal. On the way, you could enjoy the stunning panoramic views of the snow-capped Himalayan Range. Accommodation: Sherpa Hostel or Similar. Includes: (B).
Day 7: Zhangmu-Kathmandu. On this last day we’ll drive you to the Friendship Bridge (Kodari) where you are supposed to go through the China Customs. Our Kathmandu partner can help you arrange the transport to Kathmandu (about 140km) there if necessary. Your wonderful overland tour of Lhasa-Mt. Everest-Kathmandu ends. Includes: (B).

Notes:
- Please kindly note that meals usually can be arranged easily yourselves. The tour guide and driver can always help if necessary. If leave it to us, it costs around 50CNY/p.p for a lunch or dinner.
- And we'll have no problem to help you arrange connection tours in main places in China and Nepal.
