Full day city safari in Vienna:
In the morning we are doing a city tour including the most important sights of Vienna like Opera, Ringroad, Burgtheater, City Hall, Stock Exchange Building, the statues of Mozart and Strauss, Belvedere Palace, Prater with the Giant Ferris Wheel and the coulorful Hundertwasserhaus. This tour will end at Schoenbrunn Palace, the former summer residence of the Habsburg emperors. A museum tour will give you an impression of the precious equipped state rooms as well as of the modest life-style of some Habsburg family members.
After a lunch break we continue with a city walk right across Old Vienna and the city centre to discover hidden and romantic corners in Vienna. It will be like a journey to former times, as if Mozart or emperor Franz Joseph will pass around the corner at any time. The greek quarter, the Jewish quarter, St. Stephens Cathedral and the Imperial Palais will be on our way.
In between our city walk we will be having an original Viennese Melange accompanied by apple strudel, Sacher cake or Guglhupf in a typical and very traditional old Vienna Kaffeehaus. This kind of cafés are still like living-rooms in the middle of a big city where guests can spend a lot of time by reading newspapers, playing chess or billiard or just doing business.
