Safari Mpaka travels on a Nairobi round trip through Amboseli, Lake Naivasha and the Mara encircling a symphony of wildlife experiences in magical Kenya.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Nairobi
After arriving at Jomo Kenyatta Airport you are met and transferred to the respective Nairobi hotel. Use of room is not guaranteed before noon. The remainder of the day is spent at leisure. You will be transferred to the Carnivore restaurant at 7pm for dinner. Overnight at Holiday Inn Mayfair or Jacaranda Hotel (D).
Option activities available in Nairobi: (not included in rate)
- Nairobi City tour (2 hours) at 10Am and 2pm;
- Bomas of Kenya (3 hours) at 2:30pm;
- Karen Blixen, Giraffe Centre, Kazuri and Utamaduni (4 hours) at 2pm;
- Nairobi National Park (4 hours) at 9am and 2pm;
- Animal orphanage or safari walk and Mamba village (3 hours) at 2pm;
- Art trail (4 hours) at 10am.
Day 2: Nairobi - Amboseli
Breakfast is at the hotel before driving to Amboseli National Park via Namanga to arrive lunch at the respective lodge. This afternoon you will go on a game drive in the park. Overnight at Ol Tukai Lodge or Amboseli Sopa Lodge (FI).
Day 3: Amboseli – Naivasha
After an early morning game drive and breakfast we return you to Nairobi for lunch before driving on to the Lake Naivasha area. The remainder of the day is spent at leisure. Overnight at Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge or Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge or Rift Valley Golf Lodge (FI).
Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Maasai Mara
After breakfast you continue your drive west past Mount Longonot and via Narok to the Maasai Mara National Reserve to arrive for lunch at the respective lodge or camp. You will also go on a late afternoon game drive. Overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or Mara Simba Lodge or Keekorok Lodge (FI).
Day 5: Maasai Mara
Today is spent enjoying a morning and afternoon game drive in the reserve, with spectacular scenery and diverse wildlife. Overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or Mara Simba Lodge or Keekorok Lodge (FI).
Day 6: Maasai Mara – Nairobi and depart
After breakfast at the lodge or camp you will drive with you will be driven back to Nairobi. On arrival in the early afternoon, you will be dropped off at the Holiday Inn Mayfair or Jacaranda Hotel (use of room is excluded) and then transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your scheduled international flight to arrive at the airport 3 hours prior to flight departure time.
