The 3 star accommodation is great for the traveler on a budget but who still would like to enjoy the splendors of safari game drives and scenic beauty offered by this nature rich country. Each vehicle will only carry 7 people to guarantee a window seat to all. This does not apply to city transfers.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Nairobi
After arriving at Jomo Kenyatta Airport you are met and transferred to the respective Nairobi hotel. Use of room is not guaranteed before noon. The remainder of the day is spent at leisure. You will be transferred to the Carnivore restaurant at 7pm for dinner. Overnight at Holiday Inn Mayfair or Jacaranda Hotel (D)

- Nairobi City tour (2 hours) at 10Am and 2pm
- Bomas of Kenya (3 hours) at 2:30pm
- Karen Blixen, Giraffe Centre, Kazuri and Utamaduni (4 hours) at 2pm
- Nairobi National Park (4 hours) at 9am and 2pm
- Animal orphanage or safari walk and Mamba village (3 hours) at 2pm
- Art trail (4 hours) at 10am
Day 2: Nairobi - Aberdares
Breakfast is at the hotel before driving to Nyeri for lunch at Outspan Hotel. The afternoon transfer is in hotel shuttle vehicles into Aberdare National Park and then on to Treetops for a night of game viewing, from the lodge precincts. See the end of this itinerary for some interesting information on Treetops Lodge. Overnight at Treetops Lodge (FI) OR overnight at The Ark (FI) - dinner is at Aberdares Country Club.
Day 3: Aberdares - Lake Nakuru or Lake Naivasha
If your overnight was at Treetops then the return shuttle transfer is to Outspan Hotel for breakfast. If your overnight was The Ark, then the return shuttle transfer is to Aberdares Country Club for breakfast. Rejoin your driver/ guide and depart for the Rift Valley arriving for lunch at a lodge in Lake Nakuru National Park. Late afternoon game viewing and bird watching is enjoyed this afternoon. Overnight at Sarova Lion Hill or Lake Nakuru Lodge (FI) OR early evening drive to Lake Naivasha area for dinner Overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa or Rift Valley Golf Lodge (FI).
Day 4: Lake Nakuru or Lake Naivasha - Maasai Mara
After breakfast you continue your drive west past Mount Longonot and via Narok to the Maasai Mara National Reserve to arrive for lunch at the respective lodge or camp. You will also go on a late afternoon game drive. Overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or Mara Simba Lodge or Keekorok Lodge (FI).
Day 5: Maasai Mara
Today is spent enjoying a morning and afternoon game drive in the reserve, with spectacular scenery and diverse wildlife. Overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or Mara Simba Lodge or Keekorok Lodge (FI).
Day 6: Maasai Mara - Nairobi and depart
After breakfast at the lodge or camp you will drive with you will be driven back to Nairobi. On arrival in the early afternoon, you will be dropped off at the Holiday Inn Mayfair or Jacaranda Hotel (use of room is excluded) and then transferred to Jomo Kenyatta international Airport for your scheduled international flight to arrive at the airport 3 hours prior to flight departure time.
Please note: standard rooms at Treetops include communal bathrooms and toilet facilities, upgrade to an en suite room on request and additional cost.
