Traveling to Ethiopia is an enriching experience whereby you will encounter an unforgettable land rich in history and culture dating some 3000 years. You will come face to face with monuments and ruins, thatched roof and rock-hewn churches and monolithic stelae, a vast array of landscape, more than 80 ethnic groups, mighty rivers and waterfalls, chain of rift valley lakes, unique flora and fauna all which leave you enchanted by Ethiopia.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Addis Ababa. Arrive Addis Ababa, be met at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at Ghion Hotel.

Day 2: Addis Ababa/Arbaminch. After breakfast drive to Arbaminch. En route, stop at Ziway for bird watching, lunch at Sodo; visit the Dorze village known for the traditional bamboo woven houses and traditional garment weaving. Overnight in hotel at Arbaminch.

Day 3: Nechisar National Park. After breakfast, drive to Nechisar National Park for game viewing. After lunch boat trip on lake Chamo, for viewing crocodiles and hippos. Overnight in a hotel.

Day 4: Jinka. After breakfast, drive to Jinka .En route visit the Derashe, Tsemay and Bena, people. Overnight in a hotel.

Day 5: Mago National Park/ Jinka. After breakfast drive to Mago National Park to visit the Mursi people known for their insertion of clay disc in to their lower lip as a sign of beauty for the female. After picnic lunch at the park’s head quarter, drive back to Jinka for overnight in a hotel.

Day 6: Turmi. After breakfast, drive to Turmi via Keyafer. En route visit the Hammer in their village. Overnight camping at Evangadi campsite.

Day 7: Murule and Kangate. After breakfast drive to Murule and Kangate, visit the Karo and Bume people respectively, lunch at Rift Valley Safari lodge, then, drive back to Turmi for overnight camping.

Day 8: Arbaminch. After breakfast, drive to Arbaminch via Erbore, picnic lunch at Woito. En route visit the Konso Waga village; Gezer Gio red soil pinnacle resulted from erosion. Overnight in a hotel.

Day 9: Addis Ababa. After breakfast drive to Addis. In the evening farewell dinner with traditional and European food, drink, and folk dance at the Crown Hotel.

Day 10: Addis Ababa/ Departure. Full day sightseeing tour of the capital Addis Ababa that includes morning visit the National Museum; Trinity Cathedral and the visit of Mercato - biggest open market of its kind in Africa.

The afternoon visit includes St. George Cathedral; Ethnological Museum and the visit of the commanding panoramic view point Mount Entoto which offers the stupendous view of the city. In the evening transfer to the airport for your international flight.
