After many years of isolation, modernising and opening influences are at work in Iran and travellers from the USA are officially welcome again. While political dialogue is still rather cold, the warm nature and hospitality of the ordinary people is what makes a visit special in addition to the awe inspiring historic sights in the country.
Geographic location makes for an ideal combination of a tour of Iran and the neighbouring newly independent Central Asian countries of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan with their own impressive civilizations.
