Your Itinerary:
Day 1: Fly buss (Airport Bus) transfer from Keflavík airport to accommodation in Reykjavik. Overnight at Hotel Loftleidir or similar.
Day 2: Drive via Hvalfjörður to Borgarfjörður area. Onwards to Snæfellsnes peninsula, passing the Eldborg crater. Two nights at Hotel Edda Helissandur or similarb in Hellinsandur.
Optional:
- Snow scooter tour on Snæfellsjökull.
Day 3: Explore Snæfellsnes peninsula with its famous Snæfellsjökull glacier and the small fishing villages along the way.
Optional:
-Boat tour from Stykkishólmur.
Day 4: Visit the Borgarfjörður area, Reykholt, Hraunfossar waterfalls, then onwards to Þingvellir National Park (4WD needed for Kaldidalur valley). From Þingvellir on to Geysir hot-spring area and Gullfoss waterfall. Overnight at Icelandair Hotel Fludir or similar in Fludir.
Day 5: Drive along the south shore, viewing Skógafoss waterfall, Mýrdalsjökull glacier, Vík, and Dyrhólaey. Head back to Reykjavík. Overnight at Hotel Loftleidir or similar.
Optional:
-Kayak tour from Stokkseyri.
Day 6: Reykjanes Peninsula, visit the moon- like surroundings of Kleifarvatn lake and Krísuvík geothermal area. Visit Grindavík fishing village and the Blue Lagoon. Overnight at Hotel Loftleidir or similar.
Optional tours:
-Bathing in the Blue Lagoon, massage in the waters of the Blue Lagoon.
Day 7: Departure by Fly bus.
