Monday:
Copenhagen or Reykjavik - Narsarsuaq.
Morning flight on Air Greenland from Copenhagen to Narsarsuaq with light lunch onboard. Upon arrival transfer to accommodation and dinner at Hotel Narsarsuaq. Information meeting.
Tuesday:
Narsarsuaq.
Breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Optional excursions available today.
Wednesday:
Narsarsuaq - Alluitsup Paa.
Transfer to the airport and flight by helicopter from Narsarsuaq to Alluitsup Paa. Dinner and accommodation at the Seaside Whale Hotel. Optional excursions available.
Thursday/Friday:
Alluitsup Paa.
Breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Optional excursions available today.
Saturday:
Alluitsup Paa - Qaqortoq – Narsaq.
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer by boat to Qaqortoq for a visit to the town and the art project before continuing on to Narsaq and Hotel Narsaq or Hotel Perlen. Dinner at local restaurant Klara.
Sunday:
Narsaq.
Breakfast at the hotel and dinner at Restaurant Klara. Optional excursions available today.
Monday:
Narsaq - Narsarsuaq – Copenhagen or Reykjavik
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the pier and by local steamer through Eric's Fjord to Narsarsuaq. Early afternoon flight on Air Greenland to Copenhagen with light lunch. Evening arrival in Copenhagen.

Village Walk Alluisup Paa
The cozy fishing village of Alluitsup Paa is different to most other towns and villages in South Greenland - in many ways it reminds about villages in the Disko Bay Area. We walk slowly through the town and the guide explains about daily life and tells the history of the village. Lunch at a local restaurant.

The Hot Spring of Uunartoq and Lichtenau
By boat to the island of Uunartoq where it will be possible to have a bath in the geothermal hot spring - while enjoying the view of icebergs in the nearby fjord. While at Uunartoq we also spend time visiting ruins and graves of old Eskimo settlements. Continue cruise through the fjord to the colorful settlement Lichtenau - a former missionary station.

The Town of Nanortalik
Nanortalik is the southernmost town in Greenland - it is a colorful town surrounded by beautiful mountains. The old part of the town, which has been turned into one of the best museums in Greenland, will be one of the highlights of this tour - but also the cruise to and from Nanortalik is exciting and interesting: In the early summer we experience the drift-ice from the Greenland east coast which almost turns the open ocean into, what seems to be, a never ending ice field and as soon as the ice melts the seal and whale season starts!

Home Visit
Visit a Greenland home, enjoy the "Coffee-Mik" (a cup of coffee which by tradition is served to all visitors) and learn about Greenland and its population.

City Walk
The guide tells the history of the town and about the everyday life in Greenland that in many ways is different to elsewhere in the world. We make a stop in the old Kayak Harbor where the local people still bring in fish and seals with their small boats and we visit the little market where the catch is sold, the church, the museum and the local skin factory. A tour where we try to give an all round understanding of the conditions of living in Greenland. Duration: 6 hours (approx.) Price: DKK 350 including lunch
By Boat to the Inland Icecap
We sail across the ice filled Bredefiord to reach the Inland ice Cap. Here we go ashore on an island emerging from the edge of the ice cap at the twin glaciers; here we can walk up and touch the Inland Ice Cap. Packed lunch will be enjoyed in this amazing place. Before heading back towards Narsaq we sail into a bay with bird cliffs and a big waterfall.

Eric the Red’s Viking Ruins:
We cross Eric's Fiord by boat and go ashore at the sheep breeding settlement Qassiarsuk, situated on the very spot where Eric the Red in year 985 settled and named his farm "Brattahlid". We visit the ruins of Eric's Farm and some nearby Eskimo ruins.

The Village of Igaliku
By boat through the ice filled Eric's Fiord to Itilleq where we go ashore next to some of the biggest agricultural fields in South Greenland. We walk 6 km (transportation can be arranged at surcharge) to Igaliku - a beautiful village where the ruins of the Vikings' Cathedral and the Bishop's Farm are situated. After lunch in a small cafeteria we walk through the village back to Itilleq and by boat to Narsarsuaq.

Qooroq Icefjord
The Greenland Ice Cap is "producing" 250 mill. tons of icebergs every summer and their last journey begins when they break off the glaciers. One of these glaciers is the Qooroq Glacier. We cruise between the icebergs, towards the glacier and at location by the choice of the captain, we stop the engine and let the boat silently drift in these beautiful surroundings.

Hiking To the Ice Cap
This excursion demands that participants are able to walk at least 6 km in mountain terrain. We go by bus as far as the road leads and continue by foot through the "Flower Valley" where the colorful sub arctic flora can be experienced. Lunch at the top of a 300 m high mountain from where we have a fantastic view over the glacier and the Ice Cap. For participants in good physical shape it will be possible to walk down and touch the Ice Cap.

By Helicopter to the Ice Cap
We cross the Johan Dahls Land by helicopter to Lake Nordbo (680 m a.s.). A ground stop makes it possible to leave the helicopter and enjoy the fantastic scenery: The beautiful Lake Nordbo surrounded by mountains and a huge glacier wall on one side. Rising up from the glacier is the Ice Cap. Alternative routing depending on the weather.

Alluitsup Paa by Helicopter
By helicopter cruising in low altitude over the South Greenland inlet system to the cozy fishing village Alluitsup Paa. Guided walk through the colorful village, which in many ways is reminding about villages in the Disko Bay area. Lunch at a local restaurant.

Narsarsuq
Guided drive through Narsarsuaq where the guide points out location of the different service facilities, explains about the daily life and the exciting history of the airport. Visit and entrance fee to the local museum also included.
