There are an experienced crew of us here in Livingstone, Zambia who can take care of all the logistics, transport, food requirements etc and even supply the necessary game rangers or birding experts as needed, for documentary film crews wanting to make documentaries or films of wildlife.
We recently had a Japanese film crew doing a documentary of elephants. There were a crew of 15 and it went highly successfully. With the game cunning of Richard Kirby and a local armed game scout known as "Africa" they were able to provide safe and close sightings of plenty of elephants. The film crew were very happy with the personal services that were provided and have produced a brilliant documentary.
There are many spectacular scenic views with nearly no inhabitants or tourists around. Game parks like the Kafue National Park South has some of the most beautiful bush imaginable. Someone recently said they preferred it to the famous Luangwa Valley and the Okavongo Delta, because of the pristine nature of the bush and because of the noticeable absence of tourists.
