Day 2: Amman–Jerash-Amman

The exploration of Amman, an amazing city built on 37 hills, will start with the Citadel, where the Archeological museum is. It introduces you to the evolution of thoughts, represents the story of the prehistoric periods (Paleolithic, Neolithic), and the Calcolithic, Bronze, and Iron ages. This part of the holy land is blessed with the rich spiritual heritage of the full story of Salvation as recorded in the Bible. Then you go for a panoramic tour to see the old part and the modern parts of Amman. Today you will also visit Jerash. We drive you through the pine forests and the olive groves until we reach Jerash, the Greco Roman city, walking there would make you feel that you are walking in the 2nd century AD. You will also learn how Christianity had become the official religion of the Roman empire churches in 324 AD, and how churches were constructed to replace temples. This ancient city is considered one of the best preserved Roman cities in the world. After finishing exploring Jerash we drive back to Amman for overnight.

Day 3: Madaba-Mount Nebo-Mujib-Karak-Petra

After breakfast and check out from the Hotel in Amman, we drive you to Petra via the kings way, to explore the Mosaic map of Madaba (6th century mosaic). Then go explore Mount Nebo, where Moses showed the promised land and died. The place is overlooking the Dead sea, the Jordan River, and the West Bank. We leave then to continue our day on the kings high way to explore the grand canyon of Jordan, Wadi a mujib (biblical Arnoon) and the magnificent Castle of Karak, a great example of the crusaders time. In the evening we will drive toward Petra for overnight.

Day 4: Petra. After breakfast at the Hotel, the excitement starts!
The Petra city is not famous only for its history, but also full of mysticism. The Rose Red City is one of the Seven Wonders, a part of the ancient Nabatean City. You will see its narrow passages and carved buildings, Djjin blocks, obelisk tomb, the royal tombs, also the rich and less rich Nabatean tombs.

Day 5: Petra. A second day visit to Petra, to explore Petra independently, overnight same hotel as the night before.

Day 6: Little Petra-Wadi Rum. Leave Petra to visit little Petra, and late afternoon is the time to leave for Wadi Rum, the place where the story of Lawrence of Arabia started, where many Hollywood major pictures are shot. After 3 hours jeep tour to explore the amazing scenery of the desert of Wadi Rum, we will go for overnight by camels. Also you do have your private tents beside the real Bedouin tent. The private tents are provided with sleeping facilities and are very well-equipped, and also bath rooms and showers.

Day 7: Leave Wadi Rum for Aqaba for 3 nights to stay at Aqaba Red Sea Resort. Here you can explore the wonders of Aqaba Gulf in a glass-bottomed boat, stay in the boat and watch the fish through the boat bottom, or you could join excursion that include snorkeling as well. Drive deep into the heart of Aqaba wealth of coral and brilliantly colored fish. Enjoy the best diving experience in the world. Sail away on Yacht and take a tour of the Red Sea. Try yourself in the underwater photography. Visit Aqaba Marine Park. Visit the Aquarium, The Marine Science Station.

The total number of species recorded so far consists of 697 plants, of which 3 are new to science, and 282 animals. Apart from its wildlife, Dana is also rich in archaeology and culture.
