Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive Egypt. Our representative will pick up you from Cairo International Airport, and then you will be transferred to your hotel and overnight in Cairo.
Day 2: Giza Tour. After breakfast at hotel, start a fantastic day tour of sightseeing by a private vehicle and Egyptologist. Visit the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus. In front of the three lies the 22 metre high and 50 metre long Great Sphinx. The Papyrus Institute is a government approved shop making and selling authentic papyrus. It is located in Giza next to the pyramids.
Stop in Carpet School as the ancient Egyptians were the first in making textiles and Carpets. Egypt location played an important role in spreading that kind of art everywhere around the other civilizations. They used different kinds of yarns from linen and flax fibers as early as 6000 years ago. Thus all the people in pharaonic time wore woven clothes and delicate garments. A mummy wrapped in woven shrouds and dating about 5000 years ago which you can see in the Egyptian museum that will visit tomorrow. Visit Sakkara, one of the most extensive archaeological sites in Egypt. Then proceed with a visit to Memphis, was the capital city of ancient Egypt during the Old Kingdom. After that, back to hotel and overnight in Cairo.
Day 3: Egyptian Museum. After breakfast at hotel, start a day tour to Museum of Egyptian Antiquities. The museum holds some of the finest treasures of human history, and is filled far beyond the capacity of the 100 year old building. There are as much as 136,000 items exhibited. 40,000 more lie in the basement, many are sinking into the soft ground. A great number of the items are tiny, coins or amulets, but prepare yourself for the awe of facing great statues and treasures. Visit Khan Al Khallili bazaar and enjoy difference types of Handicrafts. After that, back to hotel and overnight in Cairo.
Day 4: Differnace Faces Art In Cairo. After breakfast at hotel, start a day tour to the Museum of Islamic art. The museum is truly a wonderful reservoir of Islamic antiquities. It has a vast supplement of about 10200 artefacts. Then visit Mahmoud Mokhtar Museum which has a very nice collection of sculptures by the great Egyptian artist who died about 70 years ago. Proceeds with The Egyptian Museum of Modern Art which displays more than 10,000 paintings and sculptures that represent the development of the Egyptian art movement from the pioneers of the early 20th century to the contemporary art trends. Back to hotel and overnight.
Day 5: Final Departure from Cairo. Breakfast and check out from hotel. Then transfer to Cairo International Airport for departure.
