Addis Ababa to Menegesha Temperate Rain forest overnight camping for scenery and wildlife walks (500 years old, Africa's earliest example of conservation). Mammalian species etc, quite good for wildlife (baboons, monkeys, species of antelope etc) hyenas and if lucky Abyssinian Wild Leopard. From Addis to Menegesha Forest via Butajira to see ancient Tiya Stone Circles and the human remains of Salem where similar to Lucy at Melka Kontoure. or rock hewn church of Adadi Mariam. (Same style as Laliblea. Lakes Langano, Zway, Abyatat Ostrich Park. See flamingoes etc.

Langano to Arba Minch for Lakes Abya and Chamo to see the hippos and the crocodiles. If the park's weather is ok, see Netsar Park with zebra and antelope species. The scenery is like the film out of Africa but the wildlife can cause disappointment sometimes. See 40 springs instead if weather conditions all right. If rain too muddy. Boat trip to see crocs and hippos. Arba Minch to Awasa overnight on Lake Awasa for birdlife. Fantastic sunsets.

Arba Minch to Bale Mountains. Sanetti Plateau to see the Ethiopian Red Wolf. Otherwise see Harenna Forest etc. Stay in Lodge or hotel depending upon your wishes for wildlife view. Bale full day's viewing of the scenery landscape and check wildlife. Bale to Wendo Genet Forest Hotwater Springs Resort. Wendo Gent to Addis Ababa for evening out for Ethiopian dancing and music with Zawdu's family or by yourselves as per your instructions. Shopping and departure day and Ethiopian coffee with Zawdu's wife at Zawdu's house or Bon Voyage or both!
