Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive in Cape Town. Transfer by luxury coach to Signal Hill, one of Cape Town’s greatest landmarks. Enjoy champagne and canapés while taking in breathtaking views. Dinner: Emily’s restaurant for a fine South African dining experience. Overnight: Mount Nelson.
Day 2: Explore the spectacular Cape Peninsula, including Cape Point. Lunch at Harbour House. Dinner: Sunset helicopter transfer to Haute Cabriere Estate for a private wine tasting and sabrage demonstration by the owner followed by an elegant dinner presented by the award-winning chef. Overnight: Mount Nelson.
Day 3: Depart for Cape Town Airport for flight to George Airport.Transfer to Knysna and check into our hotel & spa, an award-winning resort perched on the Eastern Head. Alfresco lunch at the pool. Afternoon at leisure – play a round of golf on the championship course or rejuvenate in the spa. Dinner: Zachary’s restaurant where executive chef Geoffrey Murray will present a Chef’s Experience dinner paired with wines. Overnight: our hotel & spa.
Day 4: Half day activity such as horse riding or canoeing Picnic lunch at the Castle at Noetzie Beach. Early evening 4 x 4 ride into the mountains for sundowners. Dinner: Boma BBQ dinner overlooking the Pezula Forests. Overnight: our hotel & spa.
Day 5: Depart for George Airport for private charter to Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge for the ultimate safari experience. A light lunch on arrival / Afternoon high tea / Game drive. Dinner around the boma bonfire. Overnight: Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge.
Day 6: Early morning game drive. Breakfast at 8h30. Morning at leisure – take a guided walks or enjoy a spa treatment. Lunch at the lodge followed by a talk and demonstration on reptiles by expert Donald Strydom. High tea / Evening game drive including a unique bush dinner under African skies with a marimba band and tribal dancers.
Day 7: Early morning game drive followed by breakfast. Depart for the airstrip after lunch. Charter flight to Johannesburg and check-in for your homeward flight.
