Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: San Diego - Palm Springs. From San Diego you head inland and are in for a scenic ride through Cleveland National Forest. Stick with Hwy 78 and ride via Julian and Borrego Springs into the desert. Overnight in the fashionable resort of Palm Springs, famous for its Hot Springs.
Day 2: Palm Springs - Los Angeles. Perhaps you are up for an early morning ride through Joshua Tree National Park before you are on your way to LA? Out of Palm Springs you pick up Hwy 111 and head over to Banning and from the desert you ride into the mountains. Head for Lake Arrowhead, a popular mountain resort. From here, head straight into Los Angeles, where you overnight.
Day 3: Los Angeles - San Diego. Enjoy local sightseeing in Los Angeles – ride down famous Sunset Blvd until you hit Hwy 1 – head south and you are in for a most scenic trip along the Pacific. Ride via Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, Oceanside and Del Mar back into San Diego, where you return your motorcycle.
