Day 2: Knoxville - Pigeon Forge. After our welcome breakfast the moment has come: you will get transferred in Knoxville to pick-up your motorcycle. Not blue suede shoes but a good pair of riding boots are all you need as we hum through Deals Gap today on our way to “Slay the Dragon” then onto Pigeon Forge, Tennessee where sightings of Elvis are common.

Day 3: Pigeon Forge. Today is an encore of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. You just can not help falling in love with the wide array of entertainment choices from amusement park rides, comedy theater, crafts, fabulous food and shopping, not to mention the gospel, bluegrass, and country music sounds of the city. Or you can lose yourself in the quaint beauty of the resort town of Gatlinburg or the majestic scenery of the twisting, climbing roads of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Day 4: Pigeon Forge - Chattanooga. Today your suspicious minds will be eased as the day unfolds into the timeless beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains. Entering into this great mountain range on the Tennessee side, we exit into the North Carolina side and into the sights and sounds of the Cherokee Indian Reservation on our way to the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Wheels Through Time Museum. We wind down the evening and enjoy dining and entertainment in Chattanooga.

Day 5: Chattanooga - Nashville. Leaving Chattanooga this morning through Lynchburg, Tennessee and the Jack Daniels distillery: home of the world famous Tennessee sippin’ whiskey. If Jack Daniels was not located in a dry county, there may be many more singing the jail-house rock! Our day concludes in Nashville, Tennessee the home of country music.

Day 6: Nashville. Today is yours in the Country Music Capitol to see the sights and hear the sounds in this world famous city.

Day 7: Nashville - Tupelo. Leaving Nashville we follow the historic Natchez Trace Parkway to Tupelo, Mississippi. This is the original hunters path that slowly came to form a trail from the Mississippi River over the hills and into the valley of the Tennessee River giving the present day travelers an unhurried route from Nashville to Natchez, Mississippi. These parklands preserve an important example of the nations natural and cultural heritage. We spend just one night in Tupelo, Mississippi.

Day 8: Tupelo - Memphis. Before our departure today, we will tour Tupelo and the birthplace of the King. Afterwards we’re heading for Graceland and the birthplace of the blues, Memphis, Tennessee.

Day 9: Memphis. Memphis and Graceland are synonymous but don’t forget the Blues on Beale Street, Mud Island, and the world famous Barbeque! There is something for everyone in this city.

Day 10: Memphis - Land Between the Lakes. Give me a home where the buffalo roam literally, on our ride from Memphis to the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area in Kentucky! It is possible to see these majestic animals in their own environment. We will be traveling this peninsula between Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley, hence where the name was derived.

Day 11: Land Between the Lakes - Mammoth Cave. We ride through southwestern Kentucky by way of Bowling Green, a well-known location for sports car enthusiast. This is the home of the National Corvette Museum. Here we will stop to experience firsthand the passion and excitement of America’s Sports Car, the Chevrolet Corvette. Our route now takes us on to Mammoth Cave National Park. This is the longest recorded cave system in the world with over 360 miles explored and mapped. This will be your option to explore these caves or the ride the scenic roads surrounding the pristine water.

Day 12: Mammoth Cave - Renfro Valley. We continue east today into the Kentucky mountains and on to Mount Vernon. This is the home of the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame and Museum and the Renfro Valley Entertainment Center. Renfro Valley is also home of the famous Gatherin Radio Program that folks have enjoyed since 1939. Music is as much a part of Kentucky as the horse farms and highlands. And as varied as the landscape are the genres of song – the folk, gospel, bluegrass, blues and jazz.

Day 13: Renfro Valley - Clinton. Venture south today through the Daniel Boone National Forest and the Cumberland Gap. Returning to Tennessee we join the Tennessee Fall Homecoming festivities at the Museum of Appalachia in Norris, for real old-time mountain music and country southern cooking. Overnight Clinton, TN.

Day 14: Clinton - Knoxville. It’s not blue Hawaii but rather Norris Dam, the crown jewel of the Tennessee Valley Authority dam system, that will take your breath away as we travel this scenic route. We will follow the tranquil Norris Freeway to the now well- known “Secret City” of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Our stops will include the American Museum of Science and Energy where science and history meet. This site was originally named the American Museum of Atomic Energy. Now it’s return to sender as we face the music and admit our adventures are coming to a close as we return to our point of origin, in Knoxville. After check-in to our last hotel we get ready for a recap of this great adventure at our “good-bye” dinner.

Day 15: Knoxville Departure. It is time to say good bye to our newly made friends and tour guides. We hope to see you again for a new adventure next year.
