This tour discovers the magical heritage of Sri Lanka whilst your stay at the best hotels and villas in the famous cultural triangle and the emerald tea highlands with dramatic landscapes. There is more to it. Once you have experienced Sri- Lanka in style head off to the beach resort in Maldives for a luxurious experience at a beach resort.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Depart UK. Board your flight to Colombo from London.
Day 2: Arrive Colombo and transfer to Dambulla. On arrival at the international airport, assistance by our representative and transfer to the hotel.
Day 3: In Dambulla. Day Excursion to Polonnaruwa, Habarana and Sigiriya. Optional safari in Minneriya National Park. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: In Dambulla. Day excursion to Anuradhapura (a World Heritage Site). En route visit Aukana and the town of Mihintale. Evening visit the Dambulla rock caves. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Dambulla- Kandy. Drive to Kandy. Enroute visit the elephant orphanage at Pinnawela, batik factory and spice garden. Evening city tour of Kandy, visit to Temple of Tooth and Botanical gardens and later attend cultural performance. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Kandy- Nuwara Eliya. Travel to Nuwara Eliya by train or car. Witness the spectacular countryside- the mountains covered with tea bushes and cascading waterfalls. In Nuwara Eliya, visit to a tea plantation and a tea factory. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Nuwara Eliya- Colombo. Morning visit to the widest waterfall of Sri Lanka, “St. Clair”. Later drive to Colombo. Overnight at hotel in Colombo
Day 8: Colombo-Male. Transfer to the airport to board flight to Male (Maldives). On arrival at Male airport, assistance and transfer to the hotel.
Day 9: Day at leisure at the beach.
Day 10: Day at leisure at the beach.
Day 11: Day at leisure at the beach.
Day 12: Day at leisure at the beach.
Day 13: Day at leisure at the beach.
Day 14: Day at leisure at the beach.
Day 15: Depart Male. Transfer to the airport in time to board your return flight.
