Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Depart UK. Board overnight flight to Cochin from London.
Day 2: Arrive Cochin. On arrival you would be assisted by our representative for transfer to the hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 3: In Cochin. In the morning, guided tour of the historic city of Cochin. Afternoon free for independent activities. In the evening, attend the colourful Kathakali dance performance.
Day 4: Cochin-Munnar. In the morning, drive to Munnar. On arrival, check into the hotel. In the afternoon, visit to Tata tea factory. Evening at leisure.
Day 5: In Munnar. In the morning, boat ride in the lake. Remainder of the day at leisure to explore the town at your own pace.
Day 6: Munnar-Periyar. In the morning, drive to Periyar. On arrival, check into the hotel. In the afternoon, take a boat ride in the lake to watch wildlife. Evening at leisure.
Day 7: In Periyar. Early morning, take a boat ride in the lake for watching wildlife or take an elephant ride in the forest. Afternoon, guided visit to the spice plantation. Later, visit the famous Kumily spice market.
Day 8: Periyar-Kumarakon. In the morning, drive to Kumarakon and on arrival transfer to House Boat. Overnight cruise the backwaters towards Alleppey.
Day 9: Alleypey-Kovalam. On arrival in Alleypey, disembark houseboat and drive to kovalam. On arrival, check into the hotel. Rest of the day free on the beach.
Day 10: In Kovalam. Day at leisure at the beach.
Day 11: In Kovalam. Day at leisure at the beach.
Day 12: Trivandrum-Colombo. Transfer to Trivandrum airport in time to board your flight for Colombo. On arrival at the airport, you would be assisted by our representative for transfer to the hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 13: Colombo-Dambulla. In the morning, drive to Dambulla, enroute visiting Pinnawela elephant orphanage. On arrival in Dambulla, check into the hotel. Later visit Dambulla temple. Evening at leisure.
Day 14: In Dambulla. In the morning, visit to Polonnaruwa. Later take an elephant ride at Habarana. Evening at leisure.
Day 15: Dambulla-Kandy. Drive to Kandy enroute visit Rock Fortress at Sigiriya.
Day 16: In Kandy. In the morning, guided city tour of Kandy. Remainder of the day at leisure to explore this lake city.
Day 17: Kandy-Nuwara Eliya. In the morning, drive to the colonial hill station of Nuwara Eliya or you may take a tain to this hill country to witness the spectacular countryside on the train route.
Day 18: Nuwara Eliya-Bentota. In the morning, after city tour of Nuwara Eliya, drive to Bentota and on arrival check in at a beach resort. Evening at leisure.
Day 19: In Bentota. Day at leisure at the beach.
Day 20: In Bentota. Day at leisure at the beach.
Day 21: In Bentota. Day at leisure at the beach.
Day 22: Depart Colombo. Drive to Colombo airport in time to board your return flight.
