This memorable tour takes the discerning traveler through the ancient and cultural sites and the spectacular tea highlands of Sri Lanka. This is followed by a relaxing stay at a beach resort in vibrant Dubai.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Depart UK. Board your flight to Colombo from London.
Day 2: Arrive Colombo and transfer to Giritale. On arrival at the international airport, assistance by our representative and transfer to the hotel.
Day 3: In Giritale. Take safari in Minneriya National Park. Optional elephant safari at Habarana.
Day 4: Giritale- Dambulla. Morning excursion to Polonnaruwa (a World Heritage Site).
Day 5: In Dambulla. Morning visit to Sigiriya rock fortress.
Day 6: In Dambulla. Excurison to Anuradhapura (a World Heritage Site) En route visit Aukana and town of Mihintale. Evening visit to Ritigala Mountain.
Day 7: Dambulla- Kandy. Drive to Kandy en route visit Dambulla Rock Cave Temple, Hindu temple at Matale, a batik factory and a spice garden. Evening visit the Temple of tooth, followed by cultural show.
Day 8: In Kandy. Visit to the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawela and Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya. Evening free to explore Kandy.
Day 9: Kandy- Nuwara Eliya. Travel to Nuwara Eliya by train or car. Witness the spectacular countryside- the mountains covered with tea bushes and cascading waterfalls. In Nuwara Eliya, visit to a tea plantation and a tea factory.
Day 10: Nuwara Eliya- Colombo. Visit to the Horton Plain. Later leave drive to Colombo.
Day 11: Colombo-Dubai. Transfer to the hotel in time to board your flight to Dubai. On arrival in Dubai, transfer to the hotel.
Day 12: In Dubai. Day free for independent activities.
Day 13: In Dubai. Day free for independent activities.
Day 14: In Dubai. Day free for independent activities.
Day 15: Depart Dubai. Transfer to the airport in time to board your return flight to UK.
