Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Travel to Ouagadougou the capital of Burkina Faso. After welcoming at the airport you will be transferred to your hotel.
Day 2: Transfer from Ouagadougou to Bongo in Benin.
Days 3 - 5: Three day tour through the villages of Somba, a nation in the North of Benin. The Somba live in ‘Tata Huts’, the traditional Benin houses in the mountain region Atacora. We bring a visit to these villages. The Somba-Tamberma live in huts made of loam with a interesting building style.
Day 6: Today we visit the market. After that we depart to Natitingou. Natitingou is the capital of the province Atacora in the North-West of Benin. Atacora has the best tourist attractions. On the way we stay for overnight in a hotel.
Day 7: We bring a visit to the Natitingou Museum of Art, for a interesting view of the Somba Culture. This museum contains more than 300 objects. From there we drive to the Kota waterfall, where we take a swim. After that we depart to Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso. On the way we stay for overnight in a hotel.
Day 8: Today we continue our journey to Ouagadougou. On arrival we bring a visit to this beautiful city. Ouagadougou is the main centre of the ‘Mossi ‘ nation. The city is green and has it’s many sights. The inhabitants of Ouagadougou are very friendly. A visit to La Grande Marché is definitely worth wile. Here you can buy all kinds of food and merchandise. We recommend a visit to the National Museum. In Ouagadougou you will see many bicycles and motorcycles. Ouagadougou is good to see by bicycle. After that transfer to the airport for your flight back to your home destination. The end of a wonderful round trip through Benin.
