Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Upon your arrival at Beijing airport, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure. Accommodations: Jianguo Garden Hotel ****.
Day 2: Beijing. Today you will first visit the historic Tiananmen Square, and then the magnificent Forbidden City. In the afternoon, you will marvel at Beijing's splendid Temple of Heaven. In the evening you will be taken out for an incredible Peking Duck Banquet for dinner. Accommodations: Jianguo Garden Hotel Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 3: Beijing. You will visit to the magnificent Great Wall (Mutianyu section) and Sacred Road. Accommodations: Jianguo Garden Hotel ****. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 4: Beijing / Xian. Transfer via: Domestic flight arranged by China Odyssey Tours. You will have city tour to the exquisite Summer Palace before you will be escorted to take flight to Xian. Upon you arrive in Xian, you will be escorted to your hotel. Accommodations: Grand New World Hotel. Includes:(B), (L).
Day 5: Xian. You will visit the incredible life-size Terracotta Warriors in the morning. After lunch, you will cycle along the top of Xian’s ancient City Walls (1-2 hours). Accommodations: Grand New World Hotel****. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 6: Xian / Guilin
Transfer via: Domestic flight arranged by China Odyssey Tours. After breakfast, you will tour Big Wild Goose Pagoda before your guide escorts you to the airport your flight to Guilin. Upon your arrival in Guilin, the most scenic city in China, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or step out into this dynamic city for a little adventure on your own. Accommodations: Guilin Park Hotel Includes: (B), (L).
Day 7: Guilin / Yangshuo
After breakfast, you will be driven to Zhujiang Pier (40-minute drive) to start your boat cruise down the picturesque Li River, which is the highlight of any visit to Guilin, until you get to Yangshuo County. Along the river, you will be inspired by breathtaking views of peaks and pinnacles, crystal-clear water and picturesque pastoral views of rice paddies and water buffaloes. Visitors feel they have stepped into a traditional Chinese painting. After checking into your hotel, you will take a bike tour along Jima Road. Accommodations: New Century Hotel or similar. Day 8: Yangshuo / Guilin / Shanghai
Transfer via: Domestic flight arranged by China Odyssey Tours. Today, drive back to Guilin (1.5-hour drive) and have a city tour of the Elephant Trunk Hill and the Reed Flute Cave before your transfer to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon your arrival at Shanghai, China's most cosmopolitan city, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or step out into this amazing city for an adventure on your own. Accommodations: Holiday Inn Downtown Shanghai (Plaza Wing). Includes: (B), (L).
Day 9: Shanghai
On this day you will visit the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, which chronicles Shanghai’s past, present and future, then take a stroll through the Yu Garden. After, you can observe local people’s life at the Yuyuan Market and immerse yourself in the peaceful atmosphere of the Jade Buddha Temple. In the evening you enjoy a wonderful Acrobatic Show. Accommodations: Holiday Inn Downtown Shanghai (Plaza Wing). Includes: (B), (L).
Day 10: Shanghai / Suzhou / Shanghai
On this morning you will be driven to Suzhou (about 1.5 hours drive). You will arrive in Suzhou in the late morning with your local Shanghai guide and personal driver. Your tour in Suzhou includes: the quiet Lingering Garden and the Pan Gate. Enjoy the gentle breeze while cruise on the Grand Canal. Later visit the No.1 Silk Factory to learn how the pure silk products are made from a small cocoon. You will be driven back to Shanghai after your tour of Suzhou. Day 11: Shanghai / Huangshan
Transfer via: Domestic flight arranged by Odyssey Tours. After breakfast, you will walk down the Bund along the Huangpu River and visit Nanjing Road, and then get a bird's eye view of Shanghai from the Jinmao Tower. After, you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to your next destination: Mt. Huangshan. Upon your arrival at city of Huangshan (Tunxi), our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure. Accommodations: International Huangshan Hotel. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 12: Huangshan
After breakfast, you will be driven to Huangshan Mountain (1.5 hour-drive), where you will take the cable car from Yungu Station to the top of the mountain. After checking into your hotel and lunch, you will visit the Brush Pen Peak, followed by a tour to Begin-to-Believe Peak to see its ancient twisted pine trees, Lion Peak, and Xihai Grand Canyon. In the evening you will enjoy the sunset from the Cloud Dispelling Pavilion. Stay overnight at the summit. Accommodations: Beihai hotel. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 13: Huangshan / Shanghai
Transfer via: Domestic flight arranged by China Odyssey Tours. On this day, try to get up early in the morning to catch the Huangshan Mountain’s magnificent sunrise. After breakfast, you will descend Huangshan, first by foot down the western side of the mountain. Along the way you will see Flying Rock, climb over the Brightness Apex, the second highest peak on Huangshan, and Turtle Peak. After all the strenuous exercise, you will take the cable car at Yuping Station down to the foot of Huangshan Mountain, where your driver will meet you and take you to the airport for your flight back to Shanghai. Upon your arrival at Shanghai, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. Accommodations: Holiday Inn Downtown Shanghai (Plaza Wing). Includes: (B), (L).
Day 14: Shanghai / Exit. Transfer via: International Flight on your own arrangement. You will be free on this day until your personal guide escorts you to the airport for your flight to your next destination. Service ends. Includes:(B)
