Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive to Guatemala City. Transfer from La Aurora International Airport to the colonial city of Antigua Guatemala. Lodge in Posada de don Rodrigo (Antigua) hotel or similar.
Day 2: Free day in Antigua Guatemala or optional tour to the archeological site to Tikal. Lodge in Posada de don Rodrigo (Antigua) hotel or similar.
Day 3: In the morning, tour of the city of Antigua Guatemala. In the afternoon, transfer to the small village of Panajachel, shore of Atitlán lake. Lodge in Posada de don Rodrigo (Panajachel) hotel or similar.
Day 4: In the morning, visit of the market of Chichicastenango. In the afternoon, transfer to the small village of Panajachel. Lodge in Posada de don Rodrigo (Panajachel) hotel or similar.
Day 5: In the morning we are going to cross Atitlán Lake in a small boat and we will visit the village of Santiago Atitlán. In the afternoon, transfer from Panajachel to Guatemala City. Lodge in Biltmore Express hotel or similar.
Day 6: To agreed hour, transfer from the hotel to the airport. End of services.
Optional tour to Tikal: Transfer from Antigua Guatemala to Guatemala City international airport in order to flight to the small village of Flores in the northern part of Guatemala. This internal flight takes around 50 minutes. Then, transfer from Flores to the archeological site of Tikal (65 Km. / 40 miles).
Tikal Tour Includes:
- Round trip Guatemala / Flores / Guatemala
- Entrance and visit of Tikal
- BBQ lunch (beverages not included) near Tikal
- Land transfers.
