Your Itinerary:
Day 1: Belize City-Hidden Valley Inn. Upon arrival in Belize City your will be met by representatives of Hidden Valley Inn and set off to the interior of Belize. Hidden Valley Inn consists of twelve spacious cottages with tiled floors, fireplaces, private baths, and comfortable beds, as well as a central lodge where you can relax and read from the library, watch movies, unwind, and enjoy full course meals by candlelight. The surrounding 18,000 acre reserve is a paradise for the nature enthusiast, with many diverse areas accessible by a carefully planned trail system. You may hike amongst Caribbean Pines, moist tropical broad leaf forest, abundant orchid gardens, and over 100 creeks cascading down deep ravines, creating spectacular waterfalls and pools. This vast, isolated property is a protective home to the Jaguar, Ocelot, Tapir, and over 200 species of birds. Possible excursions: Caracol; Rio Frio Falls, Rio-on pools and 1000 feet falls; Barton Creek Cave and Butterfly Farm; Horseback riding; Tikal.
