In this 12 days tour, it will bring you to see the beauty of the Lhasa city, such as: Potala Palace, as well as: Thurslunpo Monastery, Namtso Lake which is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet and the highest salt lake in the world, during the returning way of backing to Lhasa of this touring sites, you can also have a chance to enjoy the warmth of the Yanpachen Hot-spring. You even can see the fabulous view of Mt.Everest and the chinese Switzerland-Nyingchi. In a word, this one is nearly covered all the beautiful things in Lhasa, so never to miss it. At end of this trip, you will take the famous Qinghai-tibet train and go through the roof of the world, you will see land of snows, desert, grassland, ice mountain, which will strongly go to your heart.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Lhasa - Tsedang - Samye Monastery

Morning time our staff pick you up from your hotel in Chengdu then dropping you off to Chengdu airport help you check in. After 2 hours flight you will arrive at Lhasa Gongga airport. Our guide will pick you up from Gongga airport to visit Samya Monastery which was the first one built in the 7th century and has three buildings with different styles. Overnight at Tsedang.

Day 2: Yumbulakang - Trundruk monastery

Morning to drive to Tsedang, located by Yarlung Valley, is the capital of Shannan Prefecture. It is reputed as "the cradle of Tibetan Civilization". In the afternoon to visit Yumbulakang Palace and Trundruk Monastery. Overnight at Tsedang.

Day 3: Zedang - Yamdrotso lake - Gyangtse - Shigatse

Morning time around 8:00 am depart from Lhasa pass Gangbala Mountain which is over than 5000 m, then to Yamdrotso lake which is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet, after visiting Gyangtse Kumbum and having a far view of Zongshan ruins, arrive in Shigatse. Overnight at Shigatse.

Day 4: Shigatse - Tinggri - Rongbu

Morning time to visit Tashilumpo Monastery which was Built in 1447, spectacular tombs of Panchen Lamas. After lunch driving along with Friend-ship way pass Lhatse to Tinggri. One the way you will pass the checking point with your TTB permit, travel permit and passport. Then arrive at Tinggri. Buy the entrance of Everest Base Camp. Then from Tinggri to E.B.C with the very rough road, pass the wild grassland, cross the rapids river and high mountains. During this route, you will have a glimpse of 4 mountains which is 8000 meters high or more, such as: Mt.Lhotse(8516m), Mt.Everest(8848m), Mt.Qowowuyag(8201m), Mt.Mayalu(8463m). Then arrive at Rongbu Monastery. Overnight at Rongbu Guest house.

Day 5: Rongbu Monastery - Everest Base Camp - Tinggri - Shigatse

After seeing the sunrise at Rongbu, then walking to arrive the place get on the animal carriage then use half of an hour arrive at Everest Base camp. Hiking up to the top of the photo point to take pictures for the splendid - Mt.Everest. Then driving down from E.B.C to Tingri back to Shigatse. Overnight at Shigatse.

Day 6: Shigatse - Namtso Lake

After breakfast driving from Shigatse to holey lake Namtso. Namtso Lake is the Heavenly lake which is one of the three holy lakes of Tibet (other two is Yamdrotso lake, at Shigatse area, Lake Manasarova at Nagri) and also the highest salt lake. You can do a very relax trekking around the lakeside and Zhaxi Island. You can enjoy the sunset by the lake. Overnight at Namtso Tent Guest House.

Day 7: Namtso lake - Yangpachen hot spring - Lhasa

Morning time to see the sunrise beside the holy lake, then back to Lhasa, on the way back, you will have a chance to enjoy the hot-spring at Yangbachen. Overnight at Lhasa.

Day 8: Lhasa city tour sightseeing. Morning time to buy the entrance of Potala by yourselves. Then to visit Jokhang Temple, afternoon to visit Drepung Monastery. Overnight at Lhasa.

Day 9: Lhasa city sightseeing. Morning time to visit Potala Palace, then afternoon to Sera Monastery. Overnight at Lhasa.

Day 10: Lhasa - Draksum Tso - Bayi Town

After breakfast, driving from Lhasa to Nyingchi. On the way you will cross over Mila Pass, enjoy the scenery along the Niyang River. Afternoon drive to visit Draksum Tso, also known as Basum-Tso. The lake and its surrounding views are beautiful and the site is also connected to the semi-mythical ruler of the Kham region and Guru Rinpoche. Take a ferry ride off the southern shore of the lake to visit the Tsodzong Monastery, most probably the highest attraction of this site. Overnight in Bayi Town.

Day 11: Bayi - Cypress Forest - Lhasa

Drive to visit Ancient Cypress Forests and also you will have a chance to see Lulang Forest far away from Lulang Sightseeing Plat, afternoon drive back to Lhasa. Overnight at Lhasa. Book the hotel by yourselves.

Day 12: Take train from Lhasa to your next stop: Chengdu, Xining, Shanghai, Xian or Beijing. Dropping off at the railway station. End of the tour.
